New B7 S4 Cabriolet Owner

Hi, I just picked up a new S4 Cabri two weeks ago. I can't seem to find any modded S4 Cabri on the web. And the B6/B7 S4/RS4 forum talks mainly about the sedan (I wish there is a forum specifically for the cabri). Anyone have pics of a nice, clean modded s4 cabri? I am very much interested in seeing a cabri with trunk lips. Thanks, and great forum btw.

welcome fellow cabbie. search cabrio in this section and you'll find a few modded cars...even one or two with trunk lips. I think mine is so sexy the way it is, I left it stock.

Honestly, i dont think the cabriolets look good with the lip spoiler although i do want a slight drop and some rs4 reps or hartmann r8s...


also JHM is trying to get 5 people for a exhaust build. if i wasnt have all these problems, i would be all over it!

Well, so far I have installed the SmarTop. Also LED running light by the fog light. I am looking into Miltek exhaust next but going to ask Audi if it will void my warranty or not. The car is only 2 weeks old, so I have no plan other than those mods (and may be pioneer nav).

I'm going to chime in on this post as well, just picked up my B7 S4 Cab in April, manual transmission, triple black and only 8K on the clock.

I'm looking to do some mods/rims as well, so thanks for the suggestion to check the cabriolet forum.

Thanks guys. It is definitely an upgrade from my previous DD G35 Coupe.

S4BlackCab- I was also thinking of switching my rims. Have budget it to be about $1000-$2000. But then I found the Milltek exhaust for our car....it just sounds soo good.

So I am leaning toward of getting that done first.
As far as rims, the stock 18" look a bit small in photos, but in real life I think it looks perfect. My 650i have 19" stock and looks great, but at the same time bigger wheel well. 18" will also be lighter, O.Z. Ultraleggera 18.6lbs for 18" and 20.6lbs for 19". The stock 18" on my car is around 27-28lbs. As far as color, I was thinking of getting bright silver to maintain its luxury looks, black will give you tuner looks. Hope that helps.

Nice! Send me a PM if you want to hear my Milltek non-res with stock DP's. I don't know of anyone in my area with one, and you might change your mind. (It's too quiet. on a scale of 1-10, stock being a 3, Milltek non-res is a 5 IMO.)

Ha ha ... the 2008's back-end looks almost the same as my 2005 (minor variation in the tail lights and dual-tip exhaust are the main differences.)

Audi doe NOT "rev" the Cabs very much - I don't mind, but I think the sedans have been through three back-end revisions while my cab still looks almost the same as the new ones.

^That gray on gray looks very cool; especially with the red interior. I am holding up on the exhaust for now since someone just hit and run my car. Just some scratches on the rear bumper and valance ($500-600 repair job). I checked to my audi dealer today for pricing on the valance, it turns out they charge $260 for the valance alone, 20% off with my supplier discount. For that much money, I think I will send it in to get it cover with carbon fiber. Does anyone know any carbon fiber fabricator in SoCal, around Orange County area?

I love the old school 911s and there red or natural leather interiors. Wish they offered that on B7.

Apparently they're more liberal with the colour options on the B8.

The TTs and S5s come with red leather as well. Must be a coupe vs. sedan thing.
