Throwing code:p0300 & p0012

What does these codes mean?And why can't i put it on gear?It's a 2002 1.8t with 75,000 miles and it's tiptronic.Does anybody have a clue on what this could be...

p0300 is random misfire put plugs and coils in it and that should clear it up dont know the other code

The car is was running really bad like if i push down on the gas it will have a little lag to it...

From you fault codes, it sounds like a valve timing issue.
Timing belt might of skipped a tooth, this will throw your valve timing off causing a misfire.
Also i could e you cam position sensor or cam phaser is faulty.
