Btw, I notice the trim around your windows are black. Did car come that way or did you specially order black trims or maybe used black vinyl to cover up the chrome trim?

car comes that way in Europe. They have to pay for chrome! Ironic.

p.s. that looks incredible, but the close up shows what a nightmare it would actually be. I think it would ride awful on that drop with 20s and that tire profile.

I was expecting it to be much harder, coming from 255-35-19 (original wheels) I do not seem to feel much of difference

You really put 225/30/20 on there? No wonder they look so thin! 255/30/20 would be the proper size to keep your speedometer 100% correct. 225/35/20 would be VERY close and 245/30/20 would be pretty darn close as well (both less than 1% difference). 225/30/20 gives you the wrong speed by nearly 3%, and also makes your odometer read more miles than you've actually driven. For example, it will say you've driven 61.6 miles for every 60 miles you drive, meaning an extra 266.7 miles every 10k miles.

i was at the dealership today and asked them about these RS6 rims, for sum reason the parts guy told me that the RS6 rims won't fit on a b8. apprently they come in a different bolting system, it's still five bolts, but the hub underneath it is different, is that true? he also said that none of other models rims will fit on a b8 ...weird..

he's saying that because the "hub" of the b8 is 66.5 the same as the a5 ..so your wheels have to be a tad larger hub than 66.5 mm

if i check etka the rs6 wheel stands between the accesoires list of the b8 so...

to be perfectly accurate, the RS6/A6/S6/A5/S5/A4/S4 are all B8 cars. Same chassis. Q5 too. Should be same axle/bore diameter.

The B8 A4 is actually the '8K' in Audi speak.

Yes, that would keep his speedo and odometer 100% accurate but would not fit his setup because of a combination of deep drop and low wheel offset. In his case, I would have put 225/35/20 to keep the speedo and odo as close as possible and still avoid rubbing.
