A place between here and there

I've seen then on a Laser red B5 S4 lowered, maybe 5% tint, and looked really nice. Pretty sure it belongs to a chick too. I'll probably swing by the place where it sits and take a pic so you can see. Maybe do it tommorow, on stalker mode.

I wasn't, the one I saw was at my local mall. It was a pearl '96. That one^^^ wouldn't be too bad with tires that fit right and some low.

edit: Are those 20s? They look huge

It's amazing what $400 can get you on craigslist.

I got these 17" VW Michigan rims with brand new tires off a guy with a 2012 Eos who upgraded pretty much right off the lot. They have 2k miles on them, Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires in 235x17/45s. They are about 1/2" bigger around than the stock 205 15/60s, but they don't rub anywhere. The seller removed the TPS sensors, so I had to drop an extra $80 on mounting, balancing and installation on the car.

Totally worth it. Car was about due for new tires anyway, and these were cheaper than a new set of decent 15s for sure.

1999.0 A4 Avant 1.8t manual, non-sport and stock suspension. I wish it had firmer and lower suspension, but I don't really want to sink any real money into a 157k mile car worth maybe $3k. Thing does run really well, tho.

I got some center caps off fleabay a while back for my B6 sport wheels (5 point star). There is a seller there doing like $10 a set of 4 shipped. If they are knock offs, they are really good knock offs. THey have the audi logo on the back and part number. They popped right on in place of the VW center cap, but lack the little lip, so it isn't quite all the way smooth, but nobody will notice the little relief.

I better get some wheel locks on these before they disappear. Life in the big city. Heh... I got some on the way.

They are still called that today when referring to actual shoe but if I would have said they were just Space Jams you would have questioned that they weren't a pair of shoes (obviously) but they do look like a Space Jam edition of rims.

Here's a couple of pictures of mine. Not the best ones, but the best I have after the respray.
Not even completely assembled yet (things move a bit slow for me in the winter). It was originaly silver, but now it is L D5Q "Shadow Blue"

Wheels are B8 A4 OE 17" with 205/50R17 Nokian Hakkapeliitta R winter tires. Lowered with ECS add-on coilovers on Eibach/Bilstein B12 Pro Kit.
I've got a set of of similar 17" OE B8's with 225/45R17 for the summer.

    GTF 25.35 front, 25.08" rear.

How it was before, with some rust removed in Photoshop:P With just the B12 Pro Kit I think, and 215/35R18 on MB 18x8"

The thing is the current wheels clear the fenders by a lot. I actually wonder why some of you guys need them rolled. The problem would seem to be the control arms, especially the rear ones. They are only half an inch away from the tires I have right now (17 in). Upgrading to 18 in with wider tires seems like an unworkable situation. Ironically, based on my setup, any rim over 17 and the tires should rub against the rear arms, so I don't know how you guys do it.
Someone needs to go to their car, check the clearance between their back tire and their control arms and reassure me. Especially the 18 and 19 in rim havers.

Im looking to do almost the same thing, im going to 18x8 et35 with 245/40/18s this winter also. im a little smaller but i dont know about the clearance. i run 16x7.5(et ????) 205/55/16 right now

I did the S4 brake upgrade.
Is there a list of wheels that fit WITHOUT spacers?

I need a solid answer on this one and trust me ive searched. I know many will say "Just get 225's and run 10mm spacers." I get it... But what im asking advice for is which spacers do I get to fit my 18x8 b6 avus wheels with "235/40" tires. Thanks in advance. This is a narrow body, 1998 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro currently on stock suspension with a full S4 kit (If that matters)

use this website. you'll need to know the offsets on those wheels, which you can find on the inside of the wheels. plug in all the numbers and see where you're at.

B5 A4 Wheel and Suspension Thread

19x8.5+35 on 235/35/19 Bridgestone S04 / Footwork is Bilstein HD’s dampers with Eibach ProKit springs. Surprisingly the ride is comfortable and when driven spiritedly very minimal pitch & roll which i was surprised.
