    I just bought the RS4/2008 S4 pedal set for my 2007 S4.

    Dead pedal
    Clutch
    Brake
    Accelerator

$195 shipped from Germany. ebay.de seller

$300 is a bit steep! Here's the seller I bought from

Looks like a good deal....I would be curious what the final bill is after exchange, shipping, duty, brokerage fees and whatever other random thing they can slap on.

Just remember, the brake pedal cover gets replaced, while the gas pedal stays as-is and the aluminum cover just slips over and is a SUPER tight fit. At first, I thought for sure mine wouldn't fit but kept working at it until I got it on there.

so you mean the brake pedal needed to take away the stock one and replace with the RS6 one right?and the gas just slips over on the stock one?

and Blake, by the way i dont know why my dead pedal is different from yours, cause mine is narrow shaped from top to bottom, that's why i didn't order the whole set but the gas and brake, so you think the gas and brake pedal would probably fit right?

That's exactly right. Why not post a pic of your pedals so we can see if they're any different from other B8's.

I finally got my RS4 pedals in from Germany (ebay for about $190). I got everything on with just a little effort except the clutch. Gas, brake, and dead pedal went on easy. I've been at the clutch pedal for about 2 hours now and have finally had it. Does anyone have any tricks they used to get the clutch pedal on????

Don't laugh, because it works.....KY water-based lube. Spread on all contact edges (pedal and new cap) in very small amounts. Start at the top and work your way down. It also helps if the rubber is warm and pliable.

Well, at this point I will try anything, even your sex jelly. haha. I thought about heating the rubber up, too, but I figured it would cool before I could get it on. Maybe I will wait for a warmer day if the lube doesn't work.

If you really need to ask, then you should just throw it away!!!! So did the lube work out for you in regards to installing the pedals?

yes, you need the RS6 kit. The RS4 dead pedal is the same but since the RS4 was only available in manual obviously the others (gas, brake, clutch) won't work.

OEM Plus now has access to the RS5 pedals, I'm still waiting on pricing from them- but it may be easier to install than the RS6 set.

Looks like it wont make a difference for install. They are still using the old style dead pedal.

Just received my set of RHD Aluminium pedal covers and thought I'd update the thread with my experience.

My current pedals on my RHD MY2010 A4 look like this (minus the rubber covers):-

The Aluminium pedal covers which I have received look like this (next to the old rubber covers)

On my car the clutch pedal is slightly smaller than the break pedal, however both new aluminium pedal covers are the same size. They should fit though!

However, the gas pedal on my car appears to be the same as the LHD car but the Aluminium pedal cover is alot smaller and tapers at the top. I think I may try and see if I can swap it for a LHD pedal cover as it looks as though it may fit!!

I also ordered the dead pedal and gave the part number over the phone. I received this :-

although on the box the part number stated is 8E2 777 B4P7, so I think they gave me the wrong one. Anyway they have given me a refund.

Anyone had any experience of fitting new pedals on a RHD car?

Are the original brake and clutch pedals the same size or is the clutch smaller like mine?

You will no doubt see that my dead pedal is a totally different shape to Wolfs9's dead pedal.

    Any info would be great.

    Parts obtained - 8E2 721 891 (Gas), 8E2 721 989 (Brake) and 8E1 721 647 (Clutch)

Manuals use RS4 gas and brake pedals.
Both use RS4 dead pedals and require swapping the black rubber base from your stock dead pedal to the RS4 dead pedal and cutting a slot in the rubber for the extra prong to slide through and tighten. It's pretty obvious once you've got them in front of you.
Following w/much interest. Have RHD car but have understanding that there is no specific kit for RHD (not sure why). That being said, the pedal set is not symmetric between LHD & RHD but trans-positioned (across car centerline) ...or would it not be? Can anyone share / suggest why LHD kit would not also fit RHD car? For dead Pedal might it be that there is different side wall on LHD side of car V's sidewall on RHD - the latter of which is set up against centre tunnel? TIA.

The pedals would be in the same position no matter if it is LHD or RHD.

Dead pedal on the drivers left, brake pedal in the middle, and gas pedal on the right.

positions are the same yes... but the tunnel over the transmission isnt even on both sides so the dead pedal is smaller in RHD cars. and due to the closeness of the accelerator pedal to the right i believe it is slightly smaller...

Thx. I guess that's the issue so, seems I was on the right page, just needed to confirm w/someone else. I was told I can use the LHD Accel & Brake pedals for RHD but not the Dead Pedal......it was suggested to use RS6 pedal w/some significant re-work to fit S4 - now I understand better as to 'why'?
