    They don't. There is a big difference between selective yellow halogen and yellow HIDs. The latter is useless in bad weather, it's way too intense and make things worse actually.

    what color temp is selective yellow halogen? or do you know where i can get selective yellow bulbs?

    The bulbs are hard to find, but there is another preferable method, it involves spraying the fog lenses with this transparent yellow/gold paint: http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html (and using regular halogen bulbs).
