Anyone ever "plastidip" 'd your car? I am looking to do my front grill, and chrome that outlines the windows and possibly my back rings on the back...advice or pics of what you or how you did would be great.

I've done this and it's pretty easy to do. The grill will be the easiest as you can separate it from the car and get some good coats on there. With the window trim make sure you tape off/cover the car or the overspray will show (especially with your color). As for the rear rings that could be the toughest to do due to the small spaces unless you pull them off the car, spray and then replace. I only say this because when the plastidip dries it turns into a rubber barrier and it's pretty tough to cut without peeling it off even with a brand new razor blade

One piece of advice that I will give you is to put some black tape down about 2 inches long where the top corner of the door meets the trim (by the b-pillar) and down in the front (where the trim starts at the a-pillar) make the piece of tape about 4 inches long. Do this for the doors that are used a lot as the rubbing from the opening/closing will rub off the plastidip and this will help conceal the trim or you will be respraying a little section all the time. Can get a picture if you'd like to help clear this up if it doesn't make any sense.

Sorry to hear that. This is why people get fed up with shops and are forced to go to the dealers. While I am new into town, I am not new to Audi. It is my goal to keep my clients loving their Audi day after day.

Another vote for Midnight Euro Auto. $49.99 for the oil change in my 07 S4 - Mobile1 / OEM filter. Turnaround was 30 min. Can't beat it. Take the extra 20 minutes to get up there and see Nick and crew if you need stuff done.

Yep civic, toyota, etc. We have a plain and simple business plan. Keep our overhead and bills low. Stay out of debt and pass the savings onto the customers. Yes we like to make money. We are in business to make money, just as well all go to work is to make money. Yet we don't need to make a killing. We have plenty of customers who drive from slc cause we save them lots of money on repairs.

Just to update, Nick and Midnight Euro brought my car back to life after replacing the 30 valves that I bent when I messed up my timing repair. Word of advice, leave the hard stuff to the professionals. But she's running great now and I couldn't be happier.

Yes teleTay, MUCH better finish, custom color matched to match original color of the wheels. Armor Coating went out their way to make things right on my wheels after Shawn's (unknown coating/vincere) did a horrible job on them.

He is no better these days, after looking into a bit more a have come to find out many friends have had bad experiences with him as we'll. taking to long to give wheels back (3 months+) bad powder coat jobs (fading because of no uv protection) and horrible communication. As a matter of fact he was a vendor on another forum and was banned from the site because of all the bad experiences members had with him.

Right now i got a CEL for Bank 2 CAT that is out. Went to dealer. They want an arm and a leg
Also have the Parking Brake out...quoted around $600 most places. $300 at an indie shop downtown...can't remember the name.

Any recommendations for an Indie shops...sounds like Midnight in Layton might be a good option?

I vote that you just get JHM tune and forget about the CEL for the CAT because their tune removes that CEL, then you can let me try driving your car to see what their tune is like. P Brake is not that bad of a job to fix I bet you could get Nick at Midnight Euro to do it for free when you get a BBK from him. Problems solved. But seriously the P Brake shouldnt be too hard if you were quoted 300 by an indie you could prolly do it yourself for 50.
