I know a guy that will work on Audi's for repairs or general work. They are located in Orem Utah.
He's a senior master Tech from Subaru, but has now has his own shop.
I have taken my car and he did amazing job and beat anyone's prices I could find and I was searching for awhile.
while he was at Subaru he worked on my mom's WRX transmission back in 2003, I messed it up and she still drives the car without ANY problems and he was nice to make it so it was under warranty.

The number for the euro wrecking yard on geneva is hard to track down and they've changed it several times, so I'll do ya all a favor and put it right here. It's called Russell's european only auto and it's 801-225-6009. They had over 50 cars last time i was there. Call first to see if you like it because they are pretty pricey for a salvage yard... Also for audi stuff transwest auto in lehi is about the only other place that has stuff.

I found a great Body Shop in Riverton, Utah. I ordered in some Side blades for my B8 A4 and they were able to match my paint and factory install them at a very reasonable price.

Does anyone in Utah have recommendations in the SLC/PC area for a shop that will do aftermarket clutches at reasonable prices? hopefully i'm looking for my new one stop independent shop. Back in Ohio I had a few local shops I trusted with my car but haven't found one here in Utah yet that I feel like I can really trust yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I start shopping around for a new go-to shop.

I went to Midnight Euro in Layton. They will give you the best price. I know the owner of the shop too. He pops into here once in a while.

Just got the car back from Luxe Auto Spa. They cleaned, decontaminated and paint corrected my car and wow, I can't believe the improvement. Also, they painted the rear calipers and applied a hybrid sealant/coat.

I highly recommend Luxe Auto to anyone looking for detail work. These guys are as good as it gets. Thanks again to Altavant for the referral.

I think the pricing is generally inline with what other detailers are charging, perhaps just a tiny bit higher, but I sincerely believe you won't find a shop will better skills and attention to details. This is an art and skill is required. They do all kinds of work on uber-expensive cars (Ferrari, Lambo's, etc).

They have pricing up on the Luxe Auto Spa website so you can see the rates for the various services as well as some pics and videos of their work. They also have a FB page and Instagram photos so you can see examples of their work. You just bring the car to them for an estimate and then figure out at what level you want to jump in- just a wash, or all the way up to show car perfection with a Modesta paint coat.

The amount I paid was entirely dependent on the condition of the paint on my car. My paint took a fair bit of work and it was long overdue. To decontaminate (clay bar, etc.) was $200, which is a required step before paint correction, but if your paint isn't as bad as mine, that price could be a fair bit less. For paint correction, it is up to you how far you want them to go- one step, two step, full on car show perfection, etc. I went with two step to get about 85% of what is possible and it was $750, whereas 100% would have been about $1,000. I believe just doing a one step paint correction would have been $250. I also had them paint my rear calipers, complete interior/exterior/engine detail, and applying a hybrid sealant that lasts about a year.

Hope that helps. They are super nice, no pressure at all, so give them a call.

P.S. it is amazing how much difference it makes. Before going to them, I thought my paint was actually in decent shape, but you can see that was not the case.

No work on the headlights. My driver side is fine, but the passenger side has some internal fogging. The thought of trying to correct that gives me a headache as I think it requires heating up the assembly to melt the glue, split it apart, etc. and of course getting out the headlight requires bumper removal, etc.

I seem to recall reading that the results might not last either due to reduced integrity from trying to stick the parts back together and possibility of further moisture intrusion. I think I'll just try to ignore it and if I end up finding a bargain on a good OEM headlight, just replace it.

I've been taking my car to Alpine Foreign Repair forever. They are a bunch of guys who used to work at Strongs in the late 70's and they are great. They only work on Audi & VW's. VERY old school shop, everything goes on a carbon work order sheet but they always get my car done in one day and have very reasonable prices. This is NOT the shop if you want to tune your car, but this is the shop if you want an honest mechanic who is not interested in ripping you off.

When I brought my S4 in from Vegas it had illegal limo tint, and instead of "trying" to cut around the defroster lines in the glass (around the 3rd brake light) they gave me upgraded tint for free. JP Autoworks is the only place and person (Jasen Penman) I will let touch my car(s). He's done a HUGE amount of work on both my VW and Audi. A LOT of custom work as well. I've been modding for over 15 years and I will go out and say he is one of the best if not the best custom fabricators. From full custom IC piping, full TB custom Exhaust, Vag mods, Brakes, engine work, tranny you name it. He is a master mechanic!

No I don't work there, never have. Jasen has become a great friend and extremely trusted. You can check the work on both my build threads. My VW build is in my sig.

I took my 2013 RS5 over to Import Auto Clinic in Layton for a pre purchase inspection (after I purchased) and they did a fine job of that, but when I inquired about a full DSG service they referred me to Makes and Models out in SLC.
