Soo i told myself that i was going tokeep this car pretty much stock and up untill now ive only done coilovers and a few sets of wheels. but i cant take it anymore it was a long and cold winter and i bought a bunch of things haha.

On the list of things are-
S line front bumper
S4 grill
New Seat Cupra lip
Porsche 3 piece twists 18x10 all around
Window Trim being Painted black
Milltek sport exhaust with test pipe and custom tips
OEM Votex Side Skirts
S4 rear valence
God Speed FMIC
Apr stg 2+ with hpfp

First up was the s- line bumper, i put it on the same day i sold my wheels for the winter. the bumper has scratches so will be repainted.

So some asshole decided to back into my car last month messing up my hood...

so now im Dropping off my car on 3/12/2011 to have the hood repaired, Front bumper Painted, side Skirts painted and window trim and grill trim painted.
Next up are my porsche twists i bought off of a vortex member.. well lets just say they were in horrible shape,and came packaged so bad it was almost funny " one came with no cardboard and no label, i was lucky i even got it " bent outers and inners all the bolts had corrosion on them all of that, well after a few days of tlc with them i got them cleaned up a bit and split so i can have the centers powder coated

Now heres the huge problem with these wheels, they are discontinued so finding new lips for them is pretty much impossible unless they are 3" or 3.5" and after adapters theyre just not fitting.and these stock lips are weakkkk. because of the small centers no one makes lips that will fit these!

luckily i came across thatcher schultz and he is hooking me up!, i wont be able to get them untill late april but im willing to wait it out. i will be doing 2" and 2.5" i also purchased some kinesis center caps from him bc i think they flow better and 7.5" kinesis barrels.

after some work good as new- and for sale

So before i drop my car off i will be installing my FMIC so i can get it all fitted nicely so i dont have to take the bumper off again after paint. i went with the god speed because, its good enough for me i know people who are happy with it and its a great price.

the exhaust will be going on as soon as my friend makes my new tips for me, along with my s4 rear valence and then i will be getting chipped. i will update the thread as the progress happens

and heres who will be helping me out along the way

I like the 997 wheels better, but the twisties will turn some heads. The other mods are going to be worth every penny. Good luck with the build.

i liked them too, but im over the 19's and they were reps.

Wanted to go for some porsche twists myself but I just can't seen to find a good deal and I would want to some enormous lips

yea the biggest i could possibly go is 3" in the back at et10, so id have to do a good amount of fender pulling too

Thanks, yeah she's a pointer mix, I think with some kind of spaniel , I adopted her she was on a kill list. Where in nj are u at?

I'm in Elizabeth. Pretty close to you. We should all meet up sometime, weather is getting better. Love the wheels btw to.

I really like where this build is heading. Good call on the wheels, I've seen Thatcher on E46Fanatics when I used to have my Bimmer.. that guy have an amazing collection of all things Kinesis.

what were the original specs on the twists when you got them?
3" isn't sounding too bad.

They were 18x9.5 and 8.5 with 1.5" lips.
With a 3" lip I'd be at et10 which can be done, but I'd have to kill my fenders haha
