Just wanted to add on the love for Berg. Took my S6 in for front brakes and to mount my V1 under the mirror today. Aaron and his guys do great work at fair prices. I'll definitely be back.

I can vouch for Berg Performance, I use them for anything other than what must be done at the dealer. Highly Recommend.

Most recent for me is when I bought my Allroad from Larry about 18mo ago. I've never had a "bad" experience there, but I also do a fair bit of work on the car myself. 3Zero3 on the other hand...

    YMMV thought :)

Anyone able to recommend a reputable shop that's not too far away from Colorado Springs that is Unitronic friendly? I'm looking into going with the Unitronic dual pulley and tine. I don't mind doing the tuning myself, but the pulley install is just something I don't care to do without having access to a garage.

I believe they're APR only, so they're off the list if that's the case. My brother-in-law has worked with them before though and said they're good. I'm pretty well decided on Unitronic though.

Well that's even better for me than, because Parker is an easier drive. Unitronic didn't have them listed on their site, so that's why I didn't think they did Unitronic. I'll definitely check them out. Thank you!

I went to Hardey's in Parker last Friday to have my pulley installation done, and after my experience there I can honestly say I'll drive all the way back up there without thinking twice about it. It's hard to find a great shop sometimes it seems, but Hardey's is certainly one of those rare, great finds. Service was fast, pricing was very reasonable, and Hardey was super easy to work with.

I'm going to be headed there on Friday. He has been super helpful in answering questions and I can't wait to get some tunes done.

Hardey installed new Wagner Intercoolers in my RS6. He did a great job. In the past year he's taken care of all the typical RS gremlins and installed some personal options. If you need someone to look after your RS. I recommend his shop. Very honest and completely stands behind his work.

I browsed through this thread, and could not come to a conclusion on a shop in the Denver area.

Need a lot of work (clutch, brakes, misc parts) and have been getting estimates. I have used Berg in the past and was pleased, but they came in pretty high for the labor on the clutch. 3 zero 3 motorsports quote was way over the top.

I'd like to get a 3rd estimate, but want it from a place that knows their stuff. Suggestions or just go with Berg?

I've used Bluewater for all my work thus far and been pleased with their work and pricing.

Depends on where you live, but I’d recommend Collin Shipman at Fourward Performance. He did the clutch and timing belt service (not at the same time) on my B5 S4 at the time as well as some other stuff on said car over the 5 yrs I owned it. FWIW Collin was a factory certified tech at Prestige before being one of the original techs at 3zero3 before starting his own shop. Pretty much just works on Audis. Another possibility is Smark A. Myth Racing. He works on just about anything and has a fair bit of experience with VAG cars.

Farther south is Champagne Motors in Englewood, and I’ve only heard good things about Hardey’s In Parker. My buddy takes all 3 of his Audi C5s there (2 Allroads and an “almost” an RS6).

I think most will say Berg, Bluewater or 3zero3. But maybe check out All Audi & VW in Henderson. Really small shop; Randy knows his way around the VAG platform and his shop took care of me in a bind for a fair price.

Thank you for the replies. I remember now seeing Bluewater mentioned quite a bit and will contact them next week.

I'm in Lakewood, but willing to drive a bit for the right shop. I need some expertise and guidance with all the preventative maintenance when doing the clutch (replace slave, SS clutch lines, trans mount inserts, etc) and brakes. My confidence in Berg has dropped slightly because I asked what they recommended and didn't get much. I had to bring up many of these parts with the sales guy, if I had initially just agreed, the clutch would have gone in without anything else. I think they are very busy and booking out a month in advance (possibly why it was 19.5 hours labor on clutch?).

Not trying to bash Berg at all, might wind up taking it there anyways. I was pleased in the past with the the shop owner's (I think?) advice with additional items I had not thought of when I had the car in last year. 3 zero 3 felt like I was not their target market (someone looking for work done correctly and a decent price), seems more for Porsche owners where price is not an issue.

Might just try to limp through the winter on stock clutch w/ dual pulley, and talk with all the shops that were recommended to me here (All Audi, Fourward performance, Champagne).

Thanks again, very helpful group here in the Rocky Mountain section!
