How do I fix a scratch in the rear bumper?

One week into ownership and my 7 year old scratches the rear bumper with his scooter. Since it's plastic, the scratch is raised where the scooter handle lifted the plastic. It's only three inches long, but I'm anal about my cars (especially one I've had for only a week). Is this an easy fix by a body shop or will that area need to be resprayed?

you could try to wet sand/buff it out, but i'm pretty sure what you're describing will require a re-spray.

all the little ones in my family have been thoroughly taught to stay away from the cars.

Shave it with a razor (making sure plastic is level with orig. paint), fill it with touch up paint...light wetsand to level paint and buff with light polish(orbital a must). This is all depending of what color your car is...black or very dark colors its a NO GO.

The S4 is my daily driver and in my two car garage must sit next to the kids' bikes and scooters. The other garage is reserved for the 993 which they know to stay away from.
