Yea I always make sure to measure twice and cut once. I want everything to be perfect as it is my DD and I can't afford to have problems... Actually, I can rent cars from Honda for really cheap for up to 2 weeks at a time so I do have some backup.

SilverBullets - Do you have yellow fogs. Is your car missing the rings in the front? I think I may have seen your car up at MAG last week.

Why do you prefer Byers? I drove all the way out to MAG to get it looked over even though Byers is 15 minutes closer.

I didn't like the service at Byers Mazda and still have a bad taste in my mouth.

Anyone ever take their car to Evan's Automotive for service. A friend of mine said Byers quoted him $5000 for some serious engine work repair work and Evan's was in the $2500 range!

My brother also has a guy from Poland on the west side that he recommends. Anyone know who I'm talking about. I guess he's built a couple really fast autocross cars that have been putting up big numbers(STIs). Really knows his way around German cars.

I like Byer's also over dumb ass MAG too. Plus if you need any parts you can get a great discount on them signing up at VWVortex. Normally close if not better then ECS tunning local not that they aren't but 2 hours away. When I worked at dealers they would try to charge people money for warty work that they shouldn't be doing. The owner is a gay little prick to if he still ownes it. Byer's Audi seems to be more fair to me and the people are great to me. I never would go there for major repair cause all dealers hr rates are higher then normal shops.

I'm on Vortex as well. How do I get the discount at Byers?

Sign up and get a member name. Just tell them a local told you to sign up and start saving. If they give you any problem just tell them Trey Latham gets his discount and told me how to save too.

No sir was not me... I do live in Dublin though and am always driving around Tuttle, Bethel, 33, 161 and throughout UA.... I have '4 RNGS' on my plates now

I dislike MAG because I think the Audi portion is mismanaged. After I bought my car, from MAG, I waited for 4 hours on the day I was supposed to pick the car up (they forgot to prep it and kept telling me "oh hold on it will be right out")... also, since they were rushed, they did the shityst prep job on a car I hav ever seen. For what took them 4 hours, I could have Wax and detailed the interior in 2 hours...

Then I brought my car there after I had it for a month because someone sat on the hood while I was still at OU ... The idiots at MAG were able to get the dent out, but they managed to scratch the car and take off the clear coat... they then claimed that it was like that from the person who sat on the car, even though I thoroughly examined it... The clear coat still looks like shit... Then I called in and asked them how much it would cost to install the JHM Short Shifter... they guy, while on the phone, looked up the website and instructions and told me "Oh this will take no more than 2-3 hours and will cost $150 to $200"... So I decided to do it... I went in and they then quoted me $400-$500 and a full days work... HAHA I installed it myself in 2 hours and I didn't have all the right tools

I haven't dealt with Byers Audi but have spent time with the Porsche department. They are great. Nice people, seem to be mod friendly also. I will only go to MAG until my service plan runs out and then its to Byer's.

Sweet! Sorry for making your want one after getting mine, but I'm sure you are going to enjoy it. I have to say the cheap little 6 buck tinted cover I got from Advanced is perfect for the plate cause you can see everything and there is no trim blocking anything if you don't have something now.

haha I was looking at plates a couple weeks before you got yours and I was like nooo that's dumb, no one will get it... then you did it and I figured I might as well jump on the bandwagon while some form of 4 Rings is still available... Im not currently running anything on the plates... I had OU frames but I think I am going to leave it Neked for a while

I have been on the site for a while and since i got back from my last deployment i am finally getting my s5.. I found a 2009 S5 black on black with about 17k miles on it. I have been looking around the site and found there are a few things that i want to do to the care once i get it.. been researching the vag com mods and was wondering if there was anyone in or around columbus OHIO that wouldnt mind maybe meeting up helping out with a few of them, or that knows of a shop that would do the mods..

This was the recommendation to me from some very trusted car enthusiasts guys I know. I will be visiting them soon for my latest grab, but I can't attest to them with personal experience... yet.
