sounds good, glad i have most of these features on mine. got dual-pulley and tune but not installed yet. Glad you like Q50S, i've been looking at them since day one, especially with "new" engine

Keep an eye on the catalysts. I had my dual pulley on for just a few months and just recently I noticed a significant deepening of the tone.

don't install the DP setup until you have additional cooling either. I had the APR CPU installed and it did a fantastic job.

Not sure if that was you near Easton getting whooped up on by a Black S4 but if so that was me ;) That was the day I was picking up my new car so I had her out for about an hour having my last fun with her. Whoever it was looked to be in a 2012'ish A6 3.0 Started on 270E and ended on Morse Rd.

It's pretty fun/awesome. I'm now finally used to the throttle response and transmission. Tested out the ATTESA E-TS AWD System too. That's a freaking mouthful of an acronym for AWD :) Handles great. Definitely more stable and flatter in the curves than my S4 and the AWD did great in the snow this week. Goosing it around turns with the nannies on felt very much like dynamic mode / sport diff on the Audi too. Just enough oversteer to be fun but then back to safety.

Hey all, wanted to take an opportunity to intro myself. Pdqgp already knows me as I actually bought his S4 by way of the infiniti dealer that he trade it to. My name is also Tim, and thanks to Pdqgp there's not much to do to my new S4, just a couple minor things. My last vehicle was a Ram 1500 and I've owned a few BMWs. This is my first Audi and so far I'm very impressed.

Tim did a great job caring for the car and has been incredibly generous with info about the car, it's history, and things I need to look out for. He also provides me with a ton of pieces/parts that go with the car but weren't traded in to the dealer. Again, thanks a ton Tim for all the help.

Lastly let me also express my new appreciation for ceramic coatings and Tim's detailing skills. Black cars are tough to keep clean. The finish on this car is incredible. If it sits in the rain it comes out clean. If only it will warm up enough that I could actually wash it.

Tims a good guy for sure. If you ever need it detailed go back to him as he will do the best and the price is one of the best around. I know he doesn't have the most free time, but it does a fair amount of detailing.

I took advantage of the nice weather a couple weekends back and cleaned them both up outside even. Funny how mid 50's in January can so good.

Side note: My factory spoiler painted to match arrives Tuesday. Crossing fingers that it looks good and turns out well.

Since I've had several inquiries, I thought I'd post here for the locals. I've worked on several AZ Members cars so thanks to all those that came to me last year for vehicle detailing. I plan on continuing it this year as well to the tune of 1-2 cars per weekend. PM for pricing. Just be sure to include an email address as my guide is in .pdf format.

I offer everything from a New Car Prep Package that takes any vehicle with less than 1,000 miles on it and wraps it in ceramic protection to a full 3 step correction in my Elite Enhancement Package for those wanting something brought back to life that was not seeing much care over the years. If you're vehicle is in between new and death, my Premium Enhancement Package which is a strong 2 Step process is where you want to be. This is my most popular detail package as I produce results that many would say can only be achieved via a full 3 step compound/polish/seal package. I do also a multi-day Signature Elite Full Correction and coating package geared towards the garage queens of the world or for OCD nuts like me that like to keep the perfect appearance on their vehicles.

A very common package that has kept me busy this winter has been a Basic Clean & Protect which is an awesome single step package for those wanting their car looking great and protected for the season but aren't hell-bent on full corrections. Great for daily drivers or prepping a car for sale.

If you're looking at Ceramic Coatings I've used and stock most of the following:

• CarPro Cquartz - Used their entire family of products
• Gyeon Mohs - Currently testing out their new Syncro Package as I heard awesome thigns
• 22 PLe - Solid stand-by product
• McKee's 37 - Excellent newer product to market but one I use on both my personal vehicles as it's great stuff

I also offer two interior detailing packages. One being a Basic Interior Cleanup where If you maintain the interior of your vehicle decently and aren't in the need of a shampoo or deep cleaning of the carpets and seats, then the basic might be all you need. However, for those that need more, I offer a Premium Interior Package and options that should do the trick.

As can I since I own Tim's old car. I've sure the summer will be different, but I actually look forward to driving in the rain as it really does clean the car off. Once treated with the ceramic coating these cars stay clean much easier than without.

Hey guys!

Just moved to Columbus from Las Vegas for a job almost three months ago! Used to have a B6 A4 modded, then sold it and got a B8.5 A4 several months before coming here. Still stock for now, besides a sub+amp.

Have been reading some of the last pages of this thread. Definitely going to give Tim a call for some detailing...not used to all the salt and crap. My car is currently at Columbus Audi for that AUX heater recall and other service, but wanted to know of any recommendations for shops out here. I saw the Dandini one, any others? (just as options and some that will do after market stuff). I think one of my wheel bearings is starting to go out, told Columbus Audi to check it out. Since driving her all the way across country, I'm curious if there are any other things the dealer will find when they do their 12589712 point inspection.

^^ LOL. Ironically I raced an MS3 (which I had one back in the day) on my way back from Cinci when I moved to my Dual Pulley Set up. Walked that bitch like he was in reverse but he kept trying. Was so unfair I actually still feel guilty.

i was just viewing my old yellow FJ pics and it's crazy that even after way there was so much iron contamination in the paint (pics of brown run offs), amazing job getting those scratches out in last pictures. Other cars look magnificent! my buddy was looking at that benz in garage and said "i dont even know what i'm looking at" until i pointed out that it was the hood. By the way Tim, took my A6 to San Antonio drag and smoked built 5.0L fox body mustang and 6.0L GTO with turbo

Haha on the hood reflection. You show him the reflection of my open garage door in the roof of my S4. :) or even the reflection off the door. I added some links to the above for others if they are interested.

Nice jobs on the runs too! I am a little bummed that the track rental day for Cbus Racing is during the Memorial Event which I have to attend due to it being a big customer event for us. I know the Q50 moves out and my guess is mid 12's. Time will tell.

Hey all, coming up on 100k miles on my 2009 Audi A4 and am looking for advice on a local mechanic to perform the timing chain and tensioner maintenance. Any one have recommendations for indy shops or any individuals who would be able to do the work at a competitive price? Willing to go with a private individual and even lend a hand to getting it done, I DIY most of the repairs but not quite confident on engine timing work.

So far on my short list to contact is Dandinis, and looking at the mechanic on 5th in Grandview would this be Motorkars, Inc.?

Geyon Syncro. Yes, I'm absolutely biased now that I've used it a few times. I'll be re-coating my RedSport with it in a few weeks. Next Friday I have a white Mustang GT Vert coming in for it. My wife's Lincoln is done with it and the gloss is not only incredible but the hydrophobic properties of it are insane. Even when dirty. Self cleans better than anything I've used and I've used just about all of them. I'll have to post up a video soon.
