Friendly help request, does anyone have the 17 mm hex that is needed for the tranny filter job? I'm willing to come and get it. I just need to borrow it for a week. Will leave collateral for insurance, trust me i'll bring it back. I will only need it once.

Did you check the bolt on the tranny to make sure you need it? I bought the special OEM tool and ended up not needing it for my fluid change. PM me if you need it, though.

I was under there and thought I saw that one. I'll put it on ramps when I get home and make sure.

JRiddle - Any idea when Byers Imports is getting the '15 WRX? I'm wanting to a change and want to look at one. I just am not sure I can get past the ricey look and stigma. Though from the pictures I have seen the '15 WRX (sans STI) looks significantly better and more muted.

Man this really wants keeps pushing me to want something different. My wipers aren't parking in the correct position. They park like 3 inches above the bottom of the window. They work totally fine outside of that. Looking like the wiper transmission is going... Is there anyway to get these things fixed without dropping $750 or whatever to replace the wiper trans/motor? Combine that with my switch in the door panel that has the window lock button stuck on and my clutch sensor making the cruise control not work and im looking well over $1k lol. Every time this car goes in for service its $700+.

New to Audizine and the Columbus car scene. I didn't realize there were cars and coffee events until seeing this thread. I live on campus, so I will most definitely be making the short trip across the river to get some inspiration for mine. Word on the street is there's an event at Byers this coming saturday?

Newer to the boards, finally went up to the Cars and Coffee at Lennox this weekend and had a good time.

Anyone know of any tune-friendly shops to get third-party warranty stuff done? I know some BMW guys go to MAG with their 335i's that are tuned and never have any problems getting things covered. Or if anyone has a contact they typically work through? I went APR Stage 2 last week and figured it's worth asking.

IPS can't do Warranty work. As I work for MAG and we have a good deal of modded cars coming in, but the issue is the Audi system that scans your car would toss the flag not the tech or dealership. I hear that APR tunes can not been seen anymore, but I'm not going to say that is 100% true. I'm in sales so I can't comment on it.

Just to give you an idea we have our service manager drives a B5 S4 and so does one of our lead techs.

It is ok, but that was me if you remember. I have a B6 not a B5, and I've not been to Germany. It was down to me and another guy last year, but I lost picking my number. It all works out since I'm going to Italy with Lamborghini this month.

Small world. My bad it's been a while my memory is a bit off. THANK YOU so much for the help by the way. Got a 100 on the report and now I'm an Automotive Management student at Ferris State University. I still have my B5 and now it's got almost 215000 miles on it.

Well that is good that you are doing so well now. I'm just glad I was able to help so much with the report. Sounds like the B5 is going strong. Just keep up with it and it will keep going for a good while longer.

Do many posters go to the Columbus C&C over by Lennox? I went last weekend, but didn't see too many Audi's.

I normally go and bring down a Bentley, Maserati, or something high-end from work(MAG). I've missed a few weeks now due to meetings and events, but I'll bring some fun things down. So look out for me if you see a new car with a dealer plate starting with 91.

I'll be going more when I move back to Dublin after I graduate, finishing up at Miami University this coming week. I plan on going, I've gone to a few of Cincinnati's C&C and had a lot of fun. I've got my quartz gray b7. I'd love to meet the Columbus guys.
