Well sign me up for the give-away... If I need to buy tickets let me know lol Selling a rare powerfull T3/T04 stystem that is bolt on for a cavy shouldn't be to hard cause I've been asked about it a lot.

It will be a while. Car's in the shop for a few days getting work done to the front end. Had an argument in January with a tire that was lying in the middle of the road at night. Getting new front bumper and custom lower center grill. Should have it back Friday or Monday.

Do tell about this lower grill? I think I'm going to do USP and maybe mold it.

Here's what I've done. I got the Uberhaus hood grille from LLTek.com and used epoxy to attach the rings to the mesh. I then had a flat sheet of the same mesh from LLTek.com that was custom fitted to the frame of the original USP lower center grille (center slats cut out). The end result looks like this:



When I hit the tire in January, the custom lower center grille popped out and flew down a ravine. I had to get another sheet of mesh from LLTek.com to make another custom center (which is being done right now).

It's probably as close as you're going to get to match the mesh found in the side fog grilles.

Na, those deals are basically for people who have worked there for a long ass time and who are ready to retire. I've only been there for 3 months, I'm definitely not gonna quit in a job market like this! I'm lucky to even have a job, they stopped hiring like right after started lol

I wish 19's weren't too big for B5's I'd love some. But for now I think I'll stay with my butchered RS4 reps.

I might have to see those grills up close. I'm not sure what I want to do just yet, but I think for the price USP is the way to go. I'm kinda starting to like the S4 bumper, but only time will tell what bumper I will go with.

Frank - I got it over at Lowe's. It is back with the spray paints called Plastic-Dip. ;)

talking about intakes, i really want to get a pipe with cone, wrap pipe in some kind of heat stopping material and run it down behind the bumper. What you think?

Hmm... I wouldn't really worry about putting behind the bumper. An intake on our cars is really just for sound. I say this only because the turbo is going to heat the air way over a 1000 degs. So other then a bigger intercooler the air coming from somewhere else will not matter to much if at all. Plus if you put that intake down there I would say most people forget to change it or never check it after that. Another thing it is that the filter will get dirty way faster there then in the bay. Just my .02

If want to mod one for power go for the 2.7 6 speed if not go for the V8.I've got 130k on mine and the only problem has been front bags and a few coil packs.

about ALLROAD i was looking at some in classifieds looks nice but my attention got drawn to that A6 2.7t with 6speed manual.

Things i really looking into is more like a sleeper, avants, and manual. Not really in the market but with this economy and my USMC paycheck, might as well get something nicer. i love my car but it start to look too sporty and draw unwanted attention. Thanks for info

I think it would be a good buy if you don't mind upgrading the rods; it's has alot of potential. He did alot to it, just not rods. not to mention it's all the way in Mass.

Now I want to put the turbo in this upcoming weekend. I just read my lease and it says I'm not allowed to work on my car lol. I'm still gonna do it here, hopefully nobody says anything. I'm gonna stick with the turbo I have here, 034 isn't responding to me about upgrading it and I am getting impatient.

My list of to-do's:
1: install mounts
2: install turbo/injectors/TIP
3: upgrade software
4: cut out bumper for my fmic

I think I'm going to use Revo software too! I think they are the best for what I want to do later. ;) You should sell your K04 to Matt and let him rebuild it or have it checked out cause he is maybe going to have to upgrade.

well I don't even know if it has to be rebuilt with those dyno numbers. when I install the new one, I'll see if there is any shaft play or oil in the housing. hopefully not!

yup exit 105 off of 71S then it's 1740 on Harmon Ave. It's on the left when you're going south on Harmon, it doesn't have a big sign or anything, just writing on the front glass door. I actually missed it and had to pull a u'y at the end of the road lol

Well guys, I've decided to go the E85 route. Just heard from Prince at Vast and will have them do a custom 93 and E85 tune once I get my K04's on. I'm excited to say the least.
