hmmm I don't know... What sounds good to you? I'm waiting to see if a local friend is working tomorrow to check out my A/C. I know today wasn't to warm, but at one point I need some A/C and it was blowing warm. We didn't drive much till she turned it off. I might need to drive around to db check it, but I think it is low. I'm off all day tomorrow. The woman goes in for her 2nd job around 9:30. I don't think having the A/C checked will take very long. I hope I can get them to pull a vac on it and let it sit to check it to see if it goes up at all. Do you want to do something around noon or little later?

^It was nice to meet you today bro. I'm sure that you are glad to be able to shift a little better now. I'm glad that I know how much boost I'm pushing. I'm not to happy about the whole 9.5psi, but at least it sounds really good huh...

Well I'm tryin' to push these guys out when I can. It just sucks that I'm working on the weekends all the time. Since I'm maybe about to take on a 2nd job to get more money for the wedding I might not be out much, but I'm online most of the time cause of my down time at work. Hit us up anytime you come up.

Now I want to get the 71r instead. I'm waiting to hear from a guy at GIAC to see if a 71r will work with the injectors I bought. So it will probably be another couple weeks. I still need to get a "base" dyno run. And the transmission no longer grinds into 5th so I'm happy.

I think I talked him into the bigger one... hehe Just let me know what software you are going to run and injectors cause I might be doing the same thing if not GT30 or GT35 cause I like to go big or go home. I just want to see how many stock bottom end guys are running GT30's on low boost settings.

I've only heard of a few people running low boost on gt30's but never on a 35 though. I wouldn't trust any 1.8 bottom end with any boost from a 35 lol

Morning! Hey does anyone know of a local site that is for Ohio only? I found FATvdub or something like that yesterday, but doesn't seem all that active. Matt I asked someone last night in a PM about doing that TP install on CR, but I've not heard back yet. If we can try to check this post every few days or something. I'm on this most of the time due to the amount of my downtime at work.

Just wheels... He nailed a huge hole on 270. The wheels look nice on his B6 too. 19's that have good tires. I think he only wants $800 for them all. Just wants money for the tires he just put on them.

I've got a set of OZ Vela II's that are 19x8.5" One barrel has a small crack and in much better shape than the ones above. Tires are 235/35/19 General Exclaim UHP tires with decent tread left. New, these went for $800 each. Whole thing (wheels and tires) can be yours for $700. Can deliver to you.

    Pic on the car:

That really is said that two sets of 19's are messed up so close to home. Both of you make me rethink about going to SSR 19's. I could put some run flats on them, but anyone that mounts tires know how much fun those are, and also the price of them are not to fun to pay for. I signed up for OhioVW, but I can't post or anything but look at things. So if anyone can send a PM to the right person to open me up over there let me know.

Frank - I heard about Honda this morning and wondered if you took any of those deals they where offering for people to walk away. I hope you still have a job or got a huge fat check.

    Re: Official Columbus Thread!

19s can work in Ohio. Mine lasted 3 years. The reason one cracked was due to a bad judgement on my part when driving on a road under construction. The road surface was stripped, but they didn't smooth out the transition from the stripped section to the regular road surface. I hit the edge too hard which resulted in the crack.

With 19s, you have to be more observant to the road conditions. You'll slow down more when encountering transitions (railroad crossings, driveway/parking lot entrances, speed bumps, etc.).

I'm still sticking with 19s for summer use. I now have a set of OZ Superleggera IIIs that are 19x9 all around.

    pics or ban!

Trust me with my Cavy jumping up to 18's with the poke I had I drive the car like it was 1" off the ground cause it was about 2". I had to watch everything all the time. I know more of the roads I drive on everyday. My girl still doesn't understand I can remember where holes are, but that is just cause I care about my wheels.

It will be a while. Car's in the shop for a few days getting work done to the front end. Had an argument in January with a tire that was lying in the middle of the road at night. Getting new front bumper and custom lower center grill. Should have it back Friday or Monday.
