I called Auto assets and they said they don't have an AWD dyno. I'm going to IPS Motorsports tomorrow to get a base run, they have a special, $120 for before and after runs. Normally one test is $70.

Aww... I was wanting to hear about how that turned out. I think tonight and tomorrow is going to get kinda crapy, but I think that will be the last of the cold crapy weather for a while.

I waiting on a GTRS adapter and a missing exhaust gasket but I'm going back to CT this weekend so I might not do it until the 18th with weather permitting. I'll wait until the 25th also if IVRINGS or anybody else wants to help out; I'm not really in a hurry to get it done.

I'll call IPS tomorrow and ask if they have any specials.

I talked to Mike at IPS today and he said it's $55 for 3 pulls. I guess they changed prices within the 2 days of taking to them?? There's no special for 2 people. He said he might drop the price to $45 if we could get 4 or 5 people. Since I don't really have time during the week to go, my plan is to go on the 18th.

Slowmotion Motorsports also has an AWD dyno.

I'm about to go full k04's and stage 3, then after that I will be doing some tweaking of the GIAC flash with lemmiwinks on a dyno, so if we can get a group discount, that would be nice. Probably wont be ready by the 18th though.

Like I said, Im in no hurry to put the turbo in. That'd be cool if we did a dyno-day.

I just bought a transmission drain plug removal socket for $14 off ebay so if anybody wants to use it when I get it, I don't mind loaning it out.

I've never had it on the dyno, but it pulls strong. I just recently put the GIAC Stage 3- software on and it made an improvement over when I was running GIAC X + MBC at 20psi, which was enough to take and hold a car length on an E63 AMG. Its probably running equally well as a full k04 stage 3- car. After doing some logs it was maxing out my stock injectors and flowing a lot of air, so I got the stage 3 fueling and was going to test them on giac stage 3 software, but last week I noticed one sounding like its on its way out so I'm just going full K04's. They just wont be able to keep up with full k04s at stage 3 but I wanted to see how close they can get.

I went stage 3 minus for just over $1000, and was going to go full stage 3 for $500 more, not bad, especially for something that has or comes close to having similar performance. I bought them used and now I'm doing full k04s anyway. Buying new is the way to go, and for the price they are new you might as well get full k04s.

Does anyone know of a good place to take in rotors to be turned off my girls GLI. She just told me the other day she is hearing something from them. So I take off the stealies she is running only to find just outside the pad on the outside the pad is polishing off the edge of them. I hope they can be turned for her not to spend the money on new rotors. Jsut let me know cause I would rather get them turned if they are in spec before spending money on new ones cause they aren't to cheap for the GLI

A lot of times its cheaper to just get new rotors than to turn them. Ebay rotors ftw

I'm going to get it dyno'd and change my transmission fluid this weekend then I'd like to put the mounts and turbo in on the 25th. I am not an Audi owner (yet, hopefully) but am looking to replace my current car, a '02 Volkswagen GTi 337, with a B7 A4 2.0T S-Line. I was wondering if anyone here owns one? What are your impressions of the car?

I have an 08 (B7) Sline with the Titanium package on it... I love the car... Im glad I got it as opposed to some others I was looking at... the quattro is great... I drive to northern Michigan alot and this car dominates all conditions... It also is a good car for the summer... the SLine is the way to go if you dont have any mods planned in the near future... SLine comes with a "Sport" Suspension which is something like a half inch lower than stock and it has a thicker Rear Sway Bar... It definitely handles better than the non Sline.. you also get a much more aggressive looking front bumper/Rear trunk lid.... I think it is a great car, I love it and would go no other way than SLine (unless your going to put Coils on it immediately than it really is a waste of money)... if you are looking for straight power and preformance, the A4 is not for you... a good looking sedan which has a great interior and is modable/great in all weather... go for the A4

I'm good for this Saturday if anyone else is! My phone tells me that it is going to be around 74. I need to do the girls brakes on the GLI at some point in the next few days, but I'm just waiting for the HAWK pads to come in that I ordered today. Cory at Advance Auto told me they might be in tomorrow. So you guys let me know if you are wanting to do anything cause I should be free for the most part of the day.
