I've got a glovebox rattle too, but I don't think it's the handle. I believe its where the latch comes out the side of the glovebox to lock. I can push the glovebox in a little bit and it goes away. I might try taking it apart this weekend and seeing if I can find a way to fix it. I also have a rattle coming from the dome light area.

I have BOTH of those rattles also and they are driving me NUTS. I also don't think it is coming from the handle, if it is the same as mine. I believe it's the prong that attaches the glove box to the car. I was thinking of putting a piece of cloth aroung the prong for a tighter fit to perhaps stop the rattling. I have no clue what to do about the dome light rattle.

Stick a nickel in the gap... Seriously... I got so frustrated by the stupid rattle above my head that I did that, and it went away... Haven't looked back since... and a nickel half protruding from the little slotted plastic piece doesn't really bother me... Usually, no one's in my car but me so I'm not too worried about how it looks...

Yes, that glove box rattle drives me crazy too. My rearview mirror rattles pretty badly too...almost sounds like something is broken inside of it.

Just break the hinge and they will replace the whole glove box under warranty. IT is a known issue.

    Re: Glove box handle/trigger vibrating

Fix the rattle....Get some felt with adhesive backing and stick it inside the glovebox near the latch. Often times the soft side of velcro will do the trick too.

This applies to most rattles. Have a friend rev the car and crawl around and pin-point them as they pop up.
