Reusing TPMS sensors on new wheels?

Hey guys i have a simple question about our TPMS sensors.

For those of you who have aftermarket wheels, did you reuse the OEM TPMS sensors and put them on the new wheels? Or did you spend a few hundred on new sensors? I don't think this has been addressed before..

..that too. because TPMS is one of the stupidest mandatory shit ever made for cars. it's for dumbasses who can't tell they have a flat tire or lazy people who don't want to check their own tire pressures and rely on electronics to do the job

From what I understand the sensors can be moved.

Re: Reusing TPMS sensors on new wheels?

They can be moved as long as the barrels of the new wheels can accommodate them.

and IMO it's good to have them. 1st week having my car, the sensor went on at a freeway offramp. I didn't feel anything but stopped at the side of the road anyway. All the tires looked fine visually. I waited about 30 seconds - 1 min, the LR tire flattened.. I ran over something apparently and gashed it on the tread, slow leak.. but it saved my rims from being bent if I kept driving :/
