Question about B7 A4 Paddle shifters

Hi all i have a 3.2 quattro without paddle shifters

i heard you can get a paddle shifter steering wheel and swap it in and then vagcom the settings and they should work fine because i have the proper tranny?

but my question is to anyone whos used these before, when using the paddle shifters is there any way to put the car into neutral and or reverse or is that something that cant be done.

I know a lot of cars that use paddle shifters allow you to hold down both paddles at the same time and it will put the transmission into neutral just wondering if this is something the A4s can do.

thanks in advance i tried looking for this info but couldnt find it

Thats only for the F1 style gearboxes. In the tiptronic you need to physically move the lever to N.

The wheel should swap right in and work fine with the appropriate Vag-Com coding.
