    headlight switch issues

Ive had my headlight switch go bad on me twice so far. The first time it happened I replaced the switch with another used one. When this one went bad I took it apart and fixed it using a diy I found. When i put it back in the lights were so dim I could barely see with my low beams on. So I took the original switch apart and fixed that one and put it back in. Seems to be good but now when I turn on my Right blinker while the low beams are on, the high beams come on. It is not because I accidentally pushed the switch forward. The only way I can get the highs to go out is by flipping on the left blinker and then off.
Any ideas wtf is going on with it? Ive also thought about relaying the headlights so less power goes thru the switch. Anyone know of any kits for this?
    thanks,
    Joe

    Re: headlight switch issues

Purchase a NEW switch, and all will be well.

    My advice.
