K04 Hybrid Updates?

yes i would get the biggest one g pop has to offer which claims to be well within the 250-275hp range, not just a regular k04... I WILL NOT spend $1000 on a k04, i would spend $200 on a k03s and have 10hp less if thats the route i was shooting for

i don't understand why people even want to do k04's anymore. they are like almost 1000 bucks for just the turbo , when an eliminator is like 1300, and you will get MUCH more power out of it without changing internals or anything for that matter.

In the long run a k04 is not nearly worth it. If you get it as cheap as a replacement k03 for a blown turbo i would say go for it but being that would never happen more then once in a blue moon, stick with the ko3s for much cheaper and almost the same results. If your going to spend that much go eliminator series....

x2 for the money k04's are the biggest waste, unless you think $1000+ for a turbo that makes 15-20chp more than the stock one is a good deal

A gpopshop upgraded k04 will produce 250-275 hp and will keep me under $600... I already agreed with the fact that a base k04 for $1000 is a waste

hahaha 275hp out of a k04, i doubt it the 28rs elim is good for about 300-350chp and is twice the size. Dont waste 600 on a turbo that WILL blow up.

well thats true, but no one really considers the gt2x as the elim turbos. usually elim is associated with the gtrs and the gt71rs

243 bhp, is not even close to your supposed 240 WHP

Common mistake. Its just hp made at the flywheel and usually on a engine dyno.

Custom tuning on 20psi for 104 octane. That is the setup that ran 14.29 at 97 mph.

Elim is the largest turbo that can be mounted directly to the stock manifold. They make around 250-280awhp on pump gas and have even made up to 360awhp on race gas pushing 28-30psi.


GT28r makes around 225-235awhp on pump gas.
