    What Weight Oil to Use?

    I am going to change my oil this weekend but I am curious what weight everone is running. I live in Oxford, Mississippi and it never reall gets below about 30 degrees. What weight oil should I use?

    5W-40 is what I use. I live in Chicago... but I really didn't take that into consideration.

    0W-40 or 5W-40... Either one is good.

    this would be a better source...

    Any oil that has the VW502 00 and 505 01 approval will do.

    Standard Use around here is 5W-40 for Castrol Syntech or 0w-40 for Mobil1.

    Not to argue but my owner's manual said 0W-30 or 5W-30

    I agree .............i have been adding a little bit of Mobil 1 5-30 to top it off.

    I guess i will switch over to a Castrol 5-40. I have had very good luck with this oil and will more than likely use this with the s4

    I'm in Texas and using Mobile 1 5W-30.

    i use 0w-40 mobile1 and love it
