    Question 2.8 V6 same valve covers as 2.7T???

    simple question... are the valve covers from a 2.8 V6 the same as the valve covers on a 2.7T V6 (S4) motor?

    as far as i know, a 2.8 is just a bored and stroked 2.8. dont take my word on it though

    No. 2.8's have spark plug cables going in where we have coils
    -02 F'in Silver. GT2560/s AWE, ER/s RS3 Wheels, KW/s and every other typical S4 upgrade.

    if this is for a valve cover gasket i believe its the same part #

    Pretty sure its same part #, check out JHMotorsports and if I remember correctly they advertise the s4 valve cover gasket (2.7t) with the 2.8 gasket.

    True the gaskest fit both engines but the valve covers themselfs dont.
