    I was in hawaii, the flash was in my backpack right next to my ice-water-filled bladder... the flash got cold, water condensed on the circuitry, when I turned it on it went pop. It still turns on and works but it just misfires like crazy. It doesn't have a PC port anyways so it wont work with my triggers.

    I'm going to try and order another trigger and a vivitar 285hv in the next couple of weeks to use alongside my sb22, and I'll be building some homemade lighting equipment. maybe you'll see it when we shoot

    it was a backpacking pack, but same idea.

    The sb600 works better for your setup... you'll be able to do wireless TTL and auto-flash metering... The D50 can't do wireless flash so I'd either have to buy an SB800 or some of the high end RadioPopper triggers which are ~$400 each.

    I'm shooting in all manual on camera and with my flash(es) so I wouldn't be using the features of the sb600 anyways.

    Whatever works, you know?

    yea thats whats sick about the d80, commander mode = win!

    yea my photo teacher showed it to me, lighting 101 helps me sooo much, its soo well explained.
