Looking for pics of 18" with slightly lowered suspension

I'm planning on getting some Vogtland GT coilovers (the deal that I saw the other day is gone, if you noticed) but would like to see some pics of 18" wheels with lowered suspension - not dropped, just lowered.

I like the stock wheels alright and may have them powdercoated black. I want 19s but for now, I'll save the money...and I figure if the 18s look good with the suspension, then it's not worth it. =)

    Thanks for the pics!

Re: Looking for pics of 18" with slightly lowered suspension

Here's mine with stock 18's, H&R springs, and Koni shocks. It would look much better if I had spacers. Sorry I don't have a direct side shot...at least one that's not moving.

yeah, 19's would look awesome, but 18's work just fine. like i said, if i had spacers it would look 10x better. i think you'll be pleased after the drop.

Re: Looking for pics of 18" with slightly lowered suspension

Whoa I was looking for the exact same thing, lol...

For those who are slightly lowered: how's the ride with the lower stance (comfort)? Does it effect the performance in the winter (in snow)?

    Thank you!
“Being four-wheel drive, the Audi's the opposite of a barbeque, it's better when wet - but it's also very good in the dry. The handling is absolutely sublime. This is harnessed lunacy … that’s the thing about the Audi, the engine is a masterpiece, it really is, and it’s beautifully made and very safe.” -Jeremy Clarkson on the S4

I have my shocks (koni's are adjustable) set slightly more stiff than stock. There was no loss of comfort. I can feel bumps a little more, but it's nothing to complain about. I have no problem in the snow, but do have a snow plow effect if the roads aren't plowed yet and the snow is more than 7 or so inches. If you're concerned about that than you should look into coilovers which are height adjustable.

Re: Looking for pics of 18" with slightly lowered suspension

Our cars would plow snow at 7" depth no matter what suspension. Not many vehicles can clear much more than 7" stock. My really old Subaru snow plowed at like 5" but was better in the snow than my folks' SUVs that cleared the snow. =)

What was the 'deal' on the Vogt GT's? From Startup, or was it just a private sale?
