Where can I get a cheap, reliable replacement HID ballast?

Where can I get a cheap, yet reliable (rubber injected) HID ballast? I've had one go bad and would like to get something reliable but I'm on a college budget. I would prefer not to go with VVME because of the things I've started to hear but DDM Tuning doesn't seem to sell just their ballasts (I e-mailed them and I'm still waiting on a reply). Preferably something under $50 after shipping.

I also have another question: Will the electrical plugs be different from ballast to ballast? I see a lot of pictures of aftermarket HID kits and they all seem like they're all interchangeable but I would like to make sure.

Most aren't exactly reputable. I need something that someone has had experience with so I know I won't be ripped off in the long run.

The most reliable for <$50 shipped? Thanks.

I would assume DDM Tuning would fit in that category if only they sold a single ballast.

you can buy a single ballast from vvme, but they are an ebay seller...and have mixed reviews.

They'll probably be my last resort. Would you happen to know how long it takes for shipping? I looked on their site and they sell ballasts for $7 with $26 shipping from China, I assume.
