300 crank or wheel. even 300 crank hp will be tough on our puny ko3's. very tough. they just won't flow enough air.

There is virtually no way to get 300hp on our cars with the stock turbo. An attempt to do so would put many of the engines components at serious risk. Having said that there are 2 alternatives to look at ... First a couple of owners (Avanteix and Jet Jockey) have run MTM k04 setups that approach the numbers you are looking for. Or I run the AWE GT28r kit and just dyno'ed smack on the 300 hp mark and 300 ft/lb torque.

At a minimum you will need the following :
    injectors
    software
    turbo
    front mount intercooler
    exhaust
and miscellaneous installation parts along the way
    Gone but not forgotten : 2000 A4, 2002 A4, 2004 A4, 2013 S4 Premium, 2013 Q7, 2017 SQ5 Dynamic Edition
    Current Audi : 2017 RS7

i would worry about a clutch before worrying about suspension and brakes. but all three are a good idea in addition to the list above

op you can make 300 Bhp with a k03. id say high 200's with full bolt ons and water meth easy, get aggressive with your timing and you could probably break 300 crank. water methanol injection does a lot

who has dyno'd number like you are talking on stock turbos? off the top of my head i can't think of anyone getting close to those numbers. maybe with the 2.0t motor, haha

i know a guy local that made 218whp with 6 degrees of timing with w/m injection, giac software, and full bolt ons.
i also know a guy that never dynoed before he upgraded his turbo but was running 9 degrees of advance on a daily basis(full bolt ons)
    tuning makes a huge difference.
op see my sig. dont be deterred. just do it

damn, that is pretty impressive. i guess it might be possible to get 300chp out of the ko3. although, 260 thought a fwd car is a bit less on a quattro car, but still at or close to 300chp either way.

just because you havent seen it dont mean its not possible
like i said adding timing to the lil-ol 1.8 make a ton of difference. just gotta know how not to lean out.

true true. but you have to admit, that is really going to pushing things to the limit on our turbo. and if you are planning on using the car as a dd, it might not be a great idea to push things to the limit. spending the extra 1000 for some peace of mind knowing the setup isn't being streched to the max, isnt a bad grand to spend

    Re: Reaching my Goal

just try it. get on a really generous dyno. add ass loads of timing, every mod you can, and race gas on a nice file, modify your WG, and you might be able to do it.

    Re: Reaching my Goal

If you're going for reliability trying for 300hp on a K03 is retarded to even think about. There's nothing unreliable with a bigger turbo setup that's been finely tuned w/supporting mods. Just get a GT28RS with REVO software and call it a day.

    +1 to that.
Also need a few simple things like high-flow filter/intake, DV, TIP.

Your price really depends if you want/can find used parts and if you are going to DIY most of the work or have a shop do it all.
