Mounted my Euro RS4 steeringwheel! SWEET!

So I finally got around to mount my RS4 steeringwheel.
MF buttons don't work, but I didn't have them on my old wheel so i doesn't matter.
Can someone please tell me how to remove the RS4 badge and get the lights on the buttons?

you have a steering wheels fetish. for the lights on the wheel, you would have to find someway to get power to them. just tap into something close. for the rs4 badge, i don't think anybody has ever removed it. it is probably just like an exterior badge so its only held on with adhesive o you could probably heat it up and pry it out of there but i would leave it. nobody is going to notice besides you.

They have removed it. OP, go to the B6 S4 forum and search for littleredwagon's post...he took the RS4 badge out and put an S4 one in; I'm sure you could fit a S-Line badge or something in. And that's making me want mine in badly

Dont remove the badge, might hurt resale value. Wheel looks sick, I hate that you lose your MF controls, I have grown so attached to them.

As for lighting, you would have to tap the wires.

Yes you might say I have a fetish! I do now any how...Wheel feels so good and I love looking at it while driving...It's almost dangerous. I also instantly gain about 200HP!

The wheel actually didn't cost me that much. Found out that the airbag used in the A8 is the same as the one in the RS4 for got the airbag for 45$. The steeringwheel it self was the pricy wh..e!

I am i little torn between removing the badge. After all I don't drive a RS4 so a s-line bagde of the kind I had in my old wheel would suite me fine.

Anyone with pictures or something to see what wires to tap? Don't want to "just give it a go" and end up with a exploded airbag in my face!

You can never go wrong with that gorgeous work of art. My only gripe with that wheel is that it doesnt have the rolling controls. Just seems easier to adjust volume and tracks with a rolling wheel rather than push buttons. No doubt that its one of the freshest wheels around though!

The lights come with the use of the multifunction, it is not a MFSW it is something else which is explained in a thread about the euro rs4 wheel in the b7 rs4/s4 forum.

Looks sick, were you able to get the paddles to work on your second wheel? And I bet the 4 by your ESP switch probably gives you at least another 50hp! Maybe ask this guy: http://www.teamspeed.com/forums/blog...ing-wheel.html If for nothing else check out Teresa Noreen!

^^ hehe the "4" actuall gives me about 53hp so you're not way of......It's actually the 4 from the S4 badge from my S4 grill. :) Just had to put it somewhere.

I don't have the TIP so the paddles didn't work. So if anyone wants to do a upgrade i'll be selling the wheel and airbag. PM me.

nsmith; I knew that I wouldn't be able to use the switches. I just want light in them to match the interior. :) I have the wireing lying on my desk right now. Will find out what wires need the power to light the mofo up!

Just found out the pins. On the black 6 pin connector that is mounted to the steeringwheel it is + to pin 2 and ground to pin 3 to add the light to the buttons. :)

So I just got mine in the mail today (euro wheel), did you figure out the wiring yet? I'm going to install it without the lighting, but I'd like to do that. Let me know!
