Next to the flash, doing the exhaust is easily my favorite. I have been enjoying it for a few days now. DAMN!

Actually, in prep of doing it, I took some videos last week with my stock exhaust. A couple simple rolls thru a parking structure and then a run up into 3rd outside. I had my camera mounted between the seats and ran a mic out the back and left it hanging off the bumper. LOL. But, it worked for the most part. So, yeah, next step is vids of the new setup.

call me very wrong and fail me if i am, but i thought the x=pipe was only meant to mix the sounds coming out of both sides of the engine so the same sound comes out on both sides, adding no power values...if wrong, dont be gentle hurt me

x pipes are a no no for turbo engines. The freer the flow the better.

Its purely for sound, but unless you have some serious horsepower (Stage 3 GT turbo), you not gonna notice any difference.
I have heard straight pipes on the 2.7t and i dont like the sound, My mechanic who is stage 3 and a sponsor on here put it best " sounds like you have 2 3 cylinders with a fart can with straight pipes)

this is true, but you get the performanc by taking out the restrictive stock exhaust and downpipes
