So i went to change out my rear coolant flange with the DIY instructions on here and i don't know if anyone's done that....but if you have successfully you must have the smallest little baby hands on planet earth because there is absolutely no room to get to that damn thing

anyway i digress... bottom line i was moving a hose for the oil separation system out of the way and it just plain tore in half...i guess it was a little bit brittle? hehe

i didn't have the replacement and i really didn't feel like breaking anything else so i took it in to my local German auto repair shop, now they're telling me in addition to that hose that i broke they have to replace a vent hose, another tube, and a vent valve from the oil separation system

so all in all to replace the coolant flange (which i provided to them) plus all that other stuff its going to be 856 plus tax at 100 bucks an hour for labor, does this sound about right to you guys? the parts are only 175 bucks the rest is just all labor....seems like a lot to me, granted i know how much of a bitch that stuff must be to get to...anyway give me your opinions please :)
