I was wondering does that upgrade really work and are there any other chip upgrades out there where they really give an increase in power.

Several people on the board have gone the route of chipping the S4. Some claim that they notice a difference in power, some dont. If you haven't done modifications such as suspension, exhaust yet than i suggest you go that reoute before software. The gains are minimal.

I have the Revo chip. I can turn it on and off for warranty purposes. Honestly, there is little to no difference. Spend the money on a rear sway bar - way more bang for the buck.

Do you have a tip or manual? I had the flash direct from the APR truck during a car show. I had a tip and and all the software packages were not compatible??? Nonetheless, I got the 93 octane program and stock.

I did notice a slight difference vs. a stock S4. Not worth the money unless it is heavily discounted (show pricing or sale). Like others have stated, get an exhaust first - makes driving sound fun.
