I was really pissed this morning when I woke up and all the neighborhood roads were covered, but the main roads weren't. Full coverage is MUCH more fun. However, I was able to take a little detour and get pretty sideways. E-braking into my parking spot at work was also quite fun... However, now I'm just sitting at work and looking out the window at my car and all of the snow coming down on it. The empty parking lot space looks very tempting for some lunch time donuts... What do you guys think??

I went out and had a blast until....

Lets just say I got stuck on a hill in the Barcroft Lake area and AWD is NO fun when you're going nowhere in an inch of snow, just slipping and slidding. LoL!

I ended up just coasting all the way back down the hill and trying again...I eventually got to the top.

Note to self...DON'T GO HALF WAY UP THE HILL AND PARK TO TAKE PICTURES OF 'WINTER' SCENERY!!!!

Went out for about 45 minutes last night with my buddy who has a Subaru Forester XT and found 5 or 6 nice parking lots. The best part was doing circles around each other and doing figure eights around this somewhat small parking lot with 3 islands. Wish I brought my camera, but I didn't...

The first parking lot we were about to pull into had two county cops sitting in it and right when we were finished at our last spot and pulled back onto the main road, another county cop drove by. At least we got away haha.

i wsa ballin out and haulin ass last night on the ice! Of course, i love the quattro feature of my car... unfortunately it doesnt work when its located in the damn shop.

I have a fwd altima for a rental, nothing quite like drifting a fwd on ice! Was able to control the slides and drift the corners, i love being sideways!!! Wish i had video of us! Was hella fun! Cant wait to the next "storm"!!

Haha rental cars are awesome! A few weeks ago my car was in for their "final warranty check" and I got an A3. The lady was like, most people usually just get the regular insurance... I was like nope, I'm going to go with the full insurance just in case. Luckily it rained all day and the roads were slick. I'll just say one thing... the e-brake and tires on that car got a workout. Quattro is a lot nicer though and easier to keep a slide going...

I also have to check my exhaust tips. Last night I could have sworn I heard them glance a curb while I was completely sideways. I went and looked at the tire tracks and I was less than a foot from the curb... Talk about mixing luck with a little skill.

i've seen ffx county cops do it in their squad cars. but if they catch you, what can you get charged with? reckless?

yea its illegal they can charge u with reckless and if there are more people around the cops try to add more on...thats y i do a quick session and head out to another lot

Yeah, it's definitely illegal. I got busted one morning before school when I was in high school. I got slapped with a "reckless driving in a parking lot" ticket by my school resource officer. When I went to court it was dropped down to improper driving, so gay. That's why I try not to spend much more than 5 minutes per parking lot area.
