Are A6 and A4 front seats interchangable?

I'm wanting to change to the sport style front seats.
Does anybody know if the A6 & A4 front seats are interchangable?
I have a 2003 A6 Avant. I'd like the seats to be as much a straight bolt in and want the leather to match the existing rear seat.

I don't think so. If any place would know though, it would probably be the archives over on AW. Might want to search there.

    Nope, not interchangeable.

    Issue? send me an email

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.

That's what I was thinking. But I've seen a few ads that say they fit both models. Just another case of buyer beware.

    Thanks
