Pioneer Avic F700BT Install on B6 *****Pics******

Hey guys, I recently received my Pioneer Nav unit from Sonic Electronix. I got a car audio shop in town to do the install, they did a good job but charged me quite a bit to do it. Everything (so far) works perfect, navigation is easy to use, bluetooth works well, and the radio is in my opinion just as good as stock. Anyways here are a few pics.

Wish I had a DIY but I have no clue how to do this stuff, feel free to comment.

very nice unit you bought and clean install.

I have been eyeing this HU for awhile. Did you connect this to a bose setup? I hear its tough.

Also, does the bluetooth automatically turn down your music for a call?

Nice and clean. It integrates very well with the remainder of the interior.

That is a myth. Using the appropriate metra harness makes it seemless to add any aftermarket headunit to an Audi, bose or not.

Pioneer units mute the music for a call. You have the option of muting or turning down the music when recieving voice navigation instructions.

Bluetooth does connect automatically, and it does it pretty quickly, within 30-45 seconds of turning on the car. This didnt go on a bose, but I understand the install isnt that much different.

It does turn down the music, the ring that comes through the bluetooth is pretty annoying, I just haven't got around to changing it.

    Thanks for comments...

If you had the steering wheel options for the radio ( ie, volume control ) could this be still used for the unit?

    Thanks,

I've telling the OP that the install is fine, just the faceplate for Double Din needs to be customized. Otherwise, it looks like...... *enough said
