how to rep german flag. (now with pics)

i want to rep the german colors somewhere on the car and i dont want it to be a sticker. what are some options to do that using an emblem/badge or something and where should i put it on my car? i think it would be really sick to take the quattro badge off my grille and put a german flag badge where it used to be. any ideas?

If someone would make that german flag a clip replacement for our front grilles to replace the "s-line" one I would so buy it.

I mean if you really wanted to you could just take out the front of the clip (the badge itself) and glue a new one onto the back clip, but thats hella ghetto and not very oem.

nah cause i think these badges are taller and thinner than the quattro sign but im not sure about the sline sign. i dont know if there is a gap in the grill where the badge used to be or anything either so maybe if i take the quattro off and put this on, you would still be able to see the gap where the quattro used to be. im just going to order the original black red yellow and see how i can make it work

Audizine license plate cover. I think it's the cleanest way to rep the flag.

Nope, it looks like they're $5 each plus shipping now.

I get compliments on mine all the time. A few weeks ago I was picking some ladies up to head out for the night and they came to my car and said, "Oh look, you even have a little German flag!!"

At first I was like, "Huh??" Then I realized what they were talking about and smiled to myself.

im have nothing against audizine but it seems as if the flag is some sort of advertisement next to a dot com on your typicall plastic plate frame. imo the plain metal chrome plate is the way to go but what ever floats the boat. ill post some pictures of where i put the flag on the grille when it comes in.

^ So you care about advertising an unnecessary engine sound more than repping the site you're a part of? (Sorry, couldn't resist and I'm just jokin' around )

Most people who comment on mine have no clue what Audizine is and could care less. They just like the German colors.

I enjoy seeing mine. It could be a blank one, or a quattro one, or an audi one. Or it could just be an audizine one. Doesn't make a big difference to me. plus anthony pays me a nickel a month for the advertisement.

Re: how to rep german flag on our b7?

    Two ideas:

    1) Take the quattro badge off the front (or rear, or both) and paint it to look like the German flag, and then reattach (leaving the "quattro" black).

    2) Find someway to paint the engine cover in a German flag scheme (not necessarily the whole thing, but you get my drift). This'll take a bit more creativity though

i'm not really liking the placement too much...love the flag, size of the emblem, but i bet there's a better place for it....can you move it around to a few different locations and take pics?? i'm thinkin somewhere on the rear of the car would look better, maybe if it was debadged allready, or on the front fender??

Nice try but I'm not really feeling it. That badge somewhere else, or one that is the size and shape of the quattro/sline badge on the grill-- either of these would work

The more i come back to this thread, the better it starts to look. However, i have seen those italian flags that are metal and thinner (like the quattro badge but a bit thicker) if you can find one that can go so many other places.

Just remove the rear rings and put this on lol

put it on the opposite side of your grille so the angle that the flag is at matches the angle of the side of the grille. I think the various angles right now are in conflict with each other.

Re: how to rep german flag. (now with pics)

ya actually i am i huge fan of supporting america more than most people. i just think it would be a conflict of (dont know what word to use). that i have an american flag badge on a german car. imo supporting america the most would be driving an american car (love my jeep to death). by repping the german flag im just showing the fact that i am into european style and i didnt just get an a4 because i asked mommy for one cause johnny down the street has one...

as for the being off place, i put the badge exactly where the quattro badge used to be and where the sline or s4 badge would have been. i think thats why all of those pictures look off because they did the same.

thanks for telling me weather you like it or not without being mean haha. actually the thing is adhesived on my grille already i cant move it unless i take it off and then have the problem of cleaning the grille from old adhesive.
