Who's found the best wiper solution for this Colorado snow?

I'm sick of how terribly bad these Aero wipers are during icy/freezing conditions. Who's found a solution to having a smeared windshield?

I guess I'm gonna have to go to the dealer and pick up some non-aero wiper arms...

I just bought some Anco refills (w22r) yesterday. I haven't put them on yet. My B6 is pre-aero but I don't feel like "upgrading" yet. We'll see how the refills work out. They were only like 6 bucks or so at Autozone.

Well, definitely wait till spring to, as you said, "upgrade" to the aeros. They're great in the rain, but they are awful when it's freezing.

I had the Bosch Icons on my old CQ; need some for the new CQ (today I think). They are Aero shaped but never had an issue with them.

Yup aero blades are total shit in bad winter conditions it's gotten dangerous more than once in the mtns. Incredible in rain though!

Ive debated the heated washer fluid, especially up in NoCo where mine has been known to freeze upon impact on my windshield. I have heard reports of windshields cracking though

Bogus, you aren't spraying boiling fluid onto your windshield. IIRC there are a couple of cars that come factory with heated fluid. Your Audi has heated nozzles.

audi also realease a special winter washer fluid concentrate that you mix with water to achieve the desired freezing point. my dad buys a case every winter and mixes it to -40F spec. helps alot.

BTW audi told him that he couldn't fit normal wipers/wiper arms to his allroad. i don't believe that, but it's also not my car.
