    Boost Gauge Problem

I installed a VMR vent boost gauge about three weeks ago. Today when I started my car the bottom of the gauge didn't light up. The top however was fine so its not a bad connection with my headlight switch. After a couple of minutes it came back on and was fine after that. It did this every time I started my car today and every time came back on after a couple of minutes. Is it just a bad led? Has anyone else had issues with VMR's gauges?

    Re: Boost Gauge Problem

Sounds like it might be a manufacturing defect in the gauge having to do with a faulty connection. I might give VMR a call tomorrow and see what they can do for me. This shouldn't happen within three weeks of install.

How were you able to remove the wiring harness from the vents? I know it seems like a n00b question, but the yellow connector on mine refuses to come off.

I pulled and the yellow connector is still firmly connected, refusing to budge.

    Re: Boost Gauge Problem

If I remember right I believe I just pulled it off. I don't remember any clips or anything. Good luck.
