Little prob after stage 3 install

Okay so the car is finally up and running, took it out tonight for a spin and noticed that the brakes are very hard to push, also there seems to be a big vacuum leak somewhere. Naturally I assumed the brake booster, but it seems fine. parts of the spider hose broke during the install and I thought I fixed them with some rubber hose until I get a new spider hose. Possibly the problem i guess. Going to wait till tomorrow to look in depth, just looking for some ideas of areas to look.
It sucks because I can feel the car start to pull hard then it falls on its face and misfires after boost...
I wish it wouldn't tease me like that, LOL. I have a feeling I'm going to love my k04s.

Your brake booster hose is either not connected or it has a huge leak. That's why your brake is hard. As far as your missfire goes, what sparkplugs did you use?

I have the NGK BKR6E gapped at .028. They are a little old for a copper plug, I was gonna swap them out tomorrow. I don't want to go a step colder on the plug because it's getting pretty cold and my PC-16 k04 A4 didn't like to run in the cold with them. think its just boost blow-out on the plug?

No brakes would be a boost leak not a problem with the plugs.

Quattrorocket: You make me feel better about my own problem plagued stage 3 install. I'm glad I'm not the only one doing this that barely know what they are doing.
