Need some help with new rear bumper...

Ok, the 1st pic below is actually pointless. Just shows the lack of the gas door, since I gave it to the body shop today for matching. Well, the question is this...It pertains to the dtm rear and the shade of black I should use on the extremely large valance area for the DTM bumper.

I actually was hoping to see if anyone would be able to find out the factory paint code for the paint used on the valance area. I have a vin of a 25th anniversary S4 and I would think that the paint code is obtainable by this. The particular vin I have is for a silver car, but the valance area is always black. Just need to find out what shade of black.

I was thinking the Satin Im currently running, may be a bit shiny for the large valance area. The body shop is trying to talk me out of Matte. Regardless, they are spraying the Ibis first and giving me a couple days to get back to them on the black shade I want.

Question for DJ Vice, or others who have done this already...What did you use?

Casey, I would imagine that the valance would come stock black from the factory. Ill message dj vice when I see him online.

I would pick matte, because everything else you painted is not shinny.

Painted my dtm rear valence gloss black.. prefer it a little shiny.

I think its almost matte black from the factory but I'm doing gloss black myself.
