Wiper problem - slow in the cold

I've had a problem this winter with the wipers (aero) in the cold. When the outside temp is about 10*F or less, the wipers will cycle very, very slowly - literally 5-6 seconds for a full cycle. When the temps dip below 0, they move even slower and typically only make it halfway up the windshild before crawling to a stop. I have to literally get out and push them back down to the resting position in this case. This happens no matter what setting I turn them on - Fast, interval wiping, or washing. Once the weather heats up a bit they work like normal. Anybody have any experience with this problem and/or some remedies?
    Just as the name says...

Your wiper linkage is about to seize up on you. You can take it to the dealer and get reamed or you can use this DIY and fix it yourself. Clicky click.

    Good luck!

X2, I have also seen this with wiper motors on the way out, do the linkages first, if it does not cure it,,then the wiper motor is tired, you'll need a new one
