From 911 to A4. Newb intro!

Whats up! Just wanted to intorduce myself.

Recently sold my 911 and bought an 06 A4. Big poster on all of the Porsche forums and looking for a home with the new Audi!

Always been a fan of Porsche/Audi/VW. I had a 2000 S4 that my parents still drive and a few Porsches. So im not completely new to the Audi scene.

The A4 is currently no match to the 911 but something tells me that wont be the case for that long

Hope to make some new frineds and learn a lot. Plenty of modding planned! enough yapping here's a pic of my old love and a pic of my new stock box.

Already started messing with it! So far ive done tint, led plate lights, ECS Snub mount and have a set of 19" VMR V710 on the way

Welcome to the boards. Congrats on the purchase. Looks like a non-sline to me, which is the same as what I have.

Since you have the Xenons, I would recommend getting some color matched fogs from Hoen or something. It was annoying having to take off the bumper to change some fog lights, but worth it. With the way people are buying V710s, I think I'll just buy some older V708s and be "different" (not really)

You've got some great choice in cars, i bet that Carrera was a blast and i'm sure the A4 will be pretty fun as well.

You'll mostly find this a helpful section, but watch out for kids who can't hide their infatuation with male genitals.

Remember, there's should be a local section for Orlando that would be updated with car meets, shows, etc.

It was more my parents car than mine lol

It was also a TIP. Had some modest work done to it(even though they told me not too lol) There in NJ and im in FL so no pics unfortunetly. It's impossible to get them to work a damn compter too!

I was VERY close to buying another one but decided the B7 would be a better more relaible car.

Wow, your 911 was nice... I love GT3 bumper and the alcantara wheel, must be tough to get into just about anything after that. But... the good news is you picked a good replacement. Good luck making it even better.

That has got to be tough going from a Porsche to an Audi... I would think most people would go the other way.

Nice Porsche! Sorry it had to go, but the A4 is not a bad replacement... at least it's more comfortable to sit in and has (imho) a nicer interior except for the seats. Friend of mine just got rid of a Carrera that was a little like yours... he opted for a 360 Modena... that bastard.

Couldnt of been happier with the 911. It was my daily driver and ready to go to the track. I just never got it there due to work : (

I bought it with 60K miles and beat the piss out of it. Never really missed a beat. Had a few things but nothing major! Guy I sold it to loves it!

Ive grown up driving Porsches... the 996 was the first car I learned how to drive stick on, it was tracked for 6-7 weekends... then my father got a 997, which due to the purchase of a 944, was only tracked for 1 session... no issues with either cars... just wore through some brakes and rotors on the 996 but thats expected... I read somewhere it was rated the second most reliable car, first being the land rover

I wanted to lower my payments. I was still paying on that car. Never intended to keep it that long. One thing led to another and it was the right choice.

When I get some cash I want a 964 Eurro RS conversion car. Somethng that I build. 2500lbs 300+ horse. Nice!
