Hey its winter here in Canada and i was running brk6e@ .28 in my 2000 a4 1.8t( APR chip ) for the winter, its ok but was wondering if 7e's would be better for this weather or is 6e's good enough till spring/summer?

some will say yes....some will say no.
i ran 6E and 7E in said degree weather. i did with no issues.
you start to misfire..swap back to 6E.
i'd personally just leave it at 6e for winter.
why go one step colder in the winter?
and the .28 gap is for people in the 21+psi range.
for 17-18psi i would have left it at stock...or maybe .30.

isn't that going backwards? people put colder plugs when they run hotter (usually mod wise or weather wise). by deduction, you're better off with hotter range plugs in colder weather.
