VMR V714's with 245's rubbing on stock suspension.

Like the title reads, I installed 19x8 V714's (et32?) with 245's under the impression that I would only get rubbing if I lowered my car. Well, as it turns out, I'm rubbing... on completely stock stuff (2005.5 B7). It's only when the suspension articulates while making a turn, but you'd be suprised how often that happens.

Now I can't take corners the way I'd like to. Aside from replacing the tires with 235's, is there any way to remedy the rub (trimming the fender well, etc.)?

Are you rubbing in the front or back?

If front, just remove the screw at 12 o'clock on the inside of the fender.

It's the front only. Screw ay? Is it the screw that typically rubs or what the screw is screwing in that needs to be removed? I'll check it out this afternoon. Thanks!

Yes, the screw itself rubs. Many of us have removed it to fix these issues. I had no issue on stock suspension but lowered it rubbed frequently. Just removing the screw made the rubbing go away even on large bumps.

She's filthy and I am limited to iphone pics at the moment, but I'll throw up a couple in a few when I get those damned screws out.

    Thanks for the info everyone!

Here's a quick pic I took at work (in the ghetto) after I got the rims on. I'll get some better pics once I get my exhaust tips straightened out and a good detail on her.
