    completely necessary to align after lowering?

    just curious because should have neuspeed race springs on my car by the end of the week and heard that it should be done at dealership..and we all know that means uber $$$

    so good idea to take it to get aligned after or what??

    and will have pics of my progress for sure too

    I would NOT take it to a stealership! Just take it to a local garage... you can talk to a few and see who offers the lowest price... you sould be able to get it downe for around 200 bucks... wait a few weeks, then get the alignment.

    Find a good shop that can align your Audi correctly.

    It is completely necessary if you want to get any mileage out of your tires.

    ^^^^i think the 200 was for spring install and alignment
    Buy tools, not labor....

    00 Audi A4, 1.8TQ avant, 6-speed swapped (from auto), s4 brakes, uprights, cluster, grill, OEM bmw style 162 wheels, slammed.
    95 BMW M3 drift car: OBD1 S52, gutted, tubed, flares, angle.

    I never did, and maintained very even wear and excellent tracking. May also depend on how much you lower, and what shape your suspension is in.

    I got to a local tire shop to get my wheels done (summer tire mounting and balance), and a free alignment for $99.....sweet deal

    *mysman* how much did you lower without having the alignment issue??
