Got a ride in a BT "Secret" Eurocode car today!!!!!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Matt(Maclem) gave me a ride in his newly tuned ride with the secret fueling kit from E-Code with the 71R eliminator on a B6, and it's the same kit Greg hit 473BHP with today around the block.

    My thoughts:

Ok this car was so freakin fast everytime he'd let off the gas i would think his car broke, i mean it has so much PULLLLLLLL wow i was astonished. This secret fueling kit is amazing, and well this is my next step.

    That's all thanx for reading

Map sensor, high flow fuel pump, beta file, VR6 MAF. The 71R is spiking around 27 and holding strong at 25...you can feel there is still more in it but then you have to shift

Is Eurocode planning to market an upgrade kit (fueling setup) for B6 Elim owners, if so would it be available by spring? I'm sure more testing/tuning needs to be done but this upgrade sounds very interesting.

I am being kept informed . Got another customer of mine waiting for this to be finalized. We're just being patient and letting David square everything up before he's ready for public release. When it is not my car, I wait for finalized software.

As of now i think a BAT is proving to be a waste of over 7k with rods and this file we'll get not only just as much power, but also smash all 1/4 mile times because of the fact it spools real low.

Dave is dealing with revo on the final file. Yes it does work with the sps and I believe the injectors that will come with the kit are630s nut I could be wrong on that one

    i concur....

really.. if you think about it.. the 10 grand someone is putting out in a BAT and all... is looking like a waste when someone putting 5 grand can live happily ever after with a car that is going to run nicely.. im pretty excited.. a little too excited..

and kirk..... i will have this on my car before you do.. because you are slackin' sir.

Re: Got a ride in a BT "Secret" Eurocode car today!!!!!

Matt is the first public customer that I know of that has received the entirely new file from REVO/Eurocode.

He is doing Beta testing on it which involves driving the car and providing feedback to David about how it is running.

Beta does not mean this file has not been tested, it has been thoroughly, however it is best practice to put it on a few cars and have them log some miles, this will make David aware of any issues that they may not have encountered when they were writing the file.

The only real bad news is that this is an entire new file, and will not be thought of as a "upgrade", this pretty much means that if you want to switch to it, you will need to pay the dealer that does the flash.

I am not sure if REVO is going to offer it to it's entire network of dealers either, that is a decision that REVO marketing/sales will make.

As it sits now, Eurocode is offering the file and fueling kit as a package for additional BETA testers, if you are interested in making the switch, give David and Sarkis a call at 310-379-EURO, when you here the recording, press 2, this will put you right to Sarkis, he does not get to work until 10AM PST, so if you call before 10AM PST you may be stuck talking to the recording.

This is what you get for the $$

~Entirely new REVO file (not an upgrade to your existing)
~Bosch Motorsports high flow fuel pump with install kit
~630cc or 750cc Injectors that require no adapters or spacers
    ~3" MAF Housing and sensor
    ~30 PSI MAP sensor

So far there are 5 BETA testers who are located in various parts of the USA using different fuels and/or injectors.

If you want to get on board, right now is a good time, David may be willing to give you a deal if you are willing and able to provide feedback.

Not quite. Greg's car dynoed with the BEST unleaded race fuel you can get (VP 109) and it dynoed less than you are gonna be running on 93 octane with a BAT running properly. And with race gas of that level and that kind of high boost (30+psi) like his car you will have a good 100whp MORE which is MASSIVE running something like a GT3076 like I have. Then dont forget while making those power numbers in his car the turbo is so far out of its efficiency range, way out of the turbo map it aint even funny. That means turbos wont last long. The car will probably run 310whp on pump gas if indeed it did have that great of improvement with this stuff. Dont be thinking you are gonna run around everyday with crazy power (I guess this could be crazy power to some of you though).

And to your comment of riding in the car. Well of course you think it is gonna feel fast as hell when you ride around in a little K03 turbo powered TIP everyday Hell my buddies stock Chevrolet 1500 pick up would probably spank you

Moral to the story, don't be bagging on the "BAT," it is just ignorant to think that you are gonna make comparable power.

And then about your drag racing comment, I guess you know nothing about it with a comment like "smash all 1/4 mile times because of the fact it spools real low." The car while drag racing will never see any kind of low rpm so spooling low doesnt mean shit. Why do you think cars run stupidly big turbos that are drag cars? You rev the car up to 5000+rpm on the line, rip off the line and then every shift will be above the boost threshold so you will be at the rpm point where you will have full boost after every shift. And then even if you have power, that dont mean you automatically run good times. Remember Dirtybyrd being able to trap 114 on a run of his but still didnt break into the 12s (he ran 13 second passes). That is where the driving part comes in to play that some may not think is so important, but until you do it you have no idea.

Bottom line is this is an entirely different setup than right now than a T3 3076R. Do not think for one minute that David is not developing stuff for a full frame turbo.

The setup on Matt's car is entirely different that what I am running and may or may not be capable of making more power...

David is focusing on making the customers happy, providing as much power as possible, while also retaining as much of the OEM type drivability that makes a Audi and Audi.

This setup is not the Unitronics/ATP setup like on Warburg's car, it is entirely different and not related whatsoever.

Come down to Hartford . Even Daniel (b6lovin) can attest to how my car runs.

One of my many [car] projects this year is a B6 TIP (Romell's car) that will be very driveable and fun. Nothing crazy, just good power to put a smile on the driver's face day in and day out.

I'm pretty sure the only thing me and you have in common on this is the 71R turbo itself. And as far as what kind of power it's going to be able to put down on this setup I'm going to call Dave later on today and see if I can get a dyno appt. set up for this weekend or first of next week. We will see because I for one am very curious. I know how it was running before hand at 17/18 psi and now...the difference is HUGE.

Why were you only running 17-18psi before? When I had the gtrs going from 17psi to 23psi was a big difference running on the ancient file and 440cc injectors.

When I first picked up the car this was in October...mind you I live in the desert and even in the middle of winter it can get fairly hot. So Dave as well as myself though it would be a good idea to run it conservative because of where I live. I'm moving and the weather has been quite cold actually so...

Gotcha. I think we were running 21psi though when we went out through the desert in (Charlie's) Audi Skate Snow's car with gtrs while I was visiting over there a few years ago. We went from Huntington Beach to Lake Havasu and also to Palm Desert or Palm Springs forget what it was called.

We had his girlfriends B7 A4 that was Revo chipped and exhaust to, but it was struggling with no front mount intercooler. It kept going in to limp mode. They had the car running a little to aggresive though.

I don't plan on going any higher than what I'm at now so rods is iffy.

Typical response from me. Reliability is key. On a stock block...?hmmm I still vote built motor if you want to push it to these power levels.
