thanks- it was a last minute impulse to wipe my car down this morning and headout to AngelesCrest- I was hoping that there will be clouds- and i guess the AudiGods were listening.

I also went up to the peak (where the observatory is and not a soul up there- and was really dark at 9ish!

cool pics. try to bring out some of the details in the shadows using Photoshop.

also, clean your sensor! I think you can send it to Canon for a free cleaning. Check with them.

I've never been an advocate of "lame photo shoots" or "check out my wash-n-wax pictures" that do nothing by hog bandwidth, but when I saw "Angeles crest" and "after the rain", I decided to click on it....and I really gotta say: THESE PICTURES ARE SPECTACULAR!

Thanks guys for the kind and awesome feedbacks! Yeah i definitely have to get my camera cleaned lol. Truly, the ''perfect condition" was there- Thick low clouds, no mist, wet pavement (the vista point had blacktop), and the rising sun behind the clouds- i couldnt pass it up. I went up to the Crest just for a nice easy run and luckily i had my camera with me.

Im thinking of going back up there this weekend- but i will likely be turned away- i think the snow drops at that level (4-5k feet)
