Black Hood, roof, Trunk too gay on a silver car?

Just wondering, I found a guy parting out a 96 A4 but its black and he wont sell the trunk unless I take the hood as well

I have the viynl to do my roof but was wondering if it would look super ghey to do a black hood, roof, and trunk on a silver audi.

I dont think I want a "Euro" trunk that bad.

Well I was going to just repaint it if he would sell the trunk alone. Its not worth the hassle if he'll make me buy the hood too and I wouldnt be able to use it too because it'll look stupid.

I personally dont like euro trunks so i would say know. I think the black and silver paint scheme is cool when its carbon fiber not just paint.

i was going to do it, but only paint the top part of the trunk and put a black lip/spoiler to make it transition better into the silver. Only problem for you is the trunk is already completely black. I don't like the way the completely black trunk looks from the back, I think having that part silver would tie in better with the black/silver theme

I think it'd flow better if the black stopped at the lower crease line, to blend better with the lights.

I think A4Rob's looks good because the tinted strip on the tails and the lower valence being black. They all tie together nicely.

Well I bought the viynl and the spray to do my roof today. $12 at a local sign shop. They had a scrap 5'x6' piece!

Viynl ftw, i did mine for around $20 total cost and about 2 hours in the garage, way better than painting in my opinion, plus way cheaper.

I think the black hood, roof, and trunk would look great. Like other people have said, I think it would be ideal to paint the trunk silver below the crease right at the top of the tail lights. Do u though!

i think the black fenders are a bit too much, but to each their own. rob's setup looks nice as hell, but i think if it was my car i would keep the A and C pillars silver with the black roof, mirror caps and trunk with silver strips on the sides of the hood (like rob's. man that hood is nice), and the strip at the bottom crease of the trunk as described above.

not sure if it would be too much or not but maybe smoke the headlights, taillights, and sidemarkers. i think it would have to be p'shopped before i did it...

Vinyl roof may be cheaper than painting, but it'll never have the same depth of shine.
