Re: Installing new Pwr Steering pump

P/S pump replacement is pretty straightforward, there's a pressure hose and return hose, can't mix them up because one has a bolt and one has a barb. I would put the car in service position (ie removing the front radiator assembly) to make it easier. When the new one is in, just have someone start the car and you feed fluid into it. it will probaly make noise until you take it around the neighborhood so it can remove all the air.

If I can do it on my S4 without directions then the A4 should be a cake walk. Looking at 5-6hour job if you are not familiar with the service position thing. 3-4 if you've been around the block a few times.
