I bought my car new, and I chose silver, now if I knew everyone else was getting silver too,I probably would of picked a different color, not sure what one though. Also I have'nt washed my car in 3 weeks, and it's not that bad. hate on silver all you want.

Silver shows off the lines of a shapely car in a clean and modern look whereas black kind of masks everything. At the same time, the silver car always looks clean (my second pic below the car hadn't been washed in weeks, in a Canadian winter), whereas the black car always looks dirty. The exceptions are the day the silver car goes offroading in mud, and the day the black car gets washed.

I have alway like silver as a color, but never owned one. I always get stuck with black and I am done owning black cars for a long time, it too hard to keep looking good. Silver is an easy color to maintain and look good.

I came from black and I loved it. They are easy to keep up if you know what you're doing when you wash/detail. I don't like my silver one as much as the black but the silver hides stuff pretty well.

To be honest, if I had the choice of nogaro, casa, or the silver I would have not chosen silver, only becuase the rareness of the noggy and casa.

My old Benz had the old version of the MB Brilliant Silver paint (it was darker and had more metallic in it). I loved it.

I used to really dislike white cars, but I've come around a bit. I agree with other posters that silver shows the lines really well - whereas black kind of hides them. I think beige / tan / champagne (as lexus calls it) is the most boring, and silver is basically a neutral color that can go either way depending on what you do with it.
